  • Patent number: 12075247
Abstract: A method for determining conflicts in updates of a hydrocarbon control system includes obtaining a first configuration and a second configuration from different locations in the hydrocarbon control system. The method also includes comparing the first configuration and the second configuration to determine if differences are detected. If differences are detected, the method includes operating a display to notify a user that differences are detected, using conflict resolution techniques to automatically determine a resolved configuration, and updating a configuration of the hydrocarbon control system with the resolved configuration. If no differences are detected, the method includes operating the display to notify the user that no differences are detected and updating the configuration of the hydrocarbon control system with the first configuration or the second configuration.

  • Patent number: 10895859
Abstract: A system includes a database, a computing system that controls operations of industrial equipment, a skid computing system that is directly coupled to the industrial equipment and controls the operations of the industrial equipment, and an interface gateway system communicates with the computing system and the skid computing system. The interface gateway system retrieves identification data associated with the industrial equipment from the skid computing system, generates a signature associated with the industrial equipment based on the identification data, generates an interface that interprets data related to the industrial equipment based on the signature, stores the interface and an association with a respective signature in the database, and transmits the data and the interface to the computing system. The interface enables the computing system to display the data via a display of the computing system and adjust the operations of the industrial equipment via the skid computing system.

  • Patent number: 9803472
Abstract: A remote terminal unit (RTU) may control one or more operations a well device associated with a hydrocarbon well. The RTU may include a processor that sends one or more attributes regarding the RTU, the well device, the hydrocarbon well, or any combination thereof to a cloud-based computing system. The processor may then send model data including one or more instructions regarding cloud services to be performed by the cloud-based computing system based on data provided to the cloud-based computing system from the RTU. The processor may then send a request to perform one or more control actions for the operations of the well device to the cloud-based computing system, control the operations of the well device based on the control actions when an approval of the request is received from the cloud-based computing system, and send the data to the cloud-based computing system.
