  • Publication number: 20230147001
Abstract: A rotor for an electrically excited drive machine includes: a coil per rotor pole with, in each case, one first energizable coil unit, and a rotor core for holding the coils of the rotor poles. The coils have, in each case, at least one second energizable coil unit per rotor pole. The rotor has an interconnecting unit which is designed to interconnect the at least two coil units per coil in a manner which is dependent on an operating point of the electric drive machine in order to set the number of windings of the coil, and in order to electrically connect the coils of the rotor poles for configuring a rotor winding with an overall number of windings which is dependent on the numbers of windings of the coils.

  • Publication number: 20230095440
Abstract: A rotor core for a salient pole rotor of an electric machine for holding magnetic-field- generating components of the salient pole rotor is provided. The rotor core is formed with a salient pole topology and has a rotor yoke and salient poles which project radially from the rotor yoke and are formed in one piece with the rotor yoke. The salient poles each have a pole shaft for holding the magnetic-field-generating components and a pole shoe, and the rotor core has supporting web arrangements which are formed in one part with the salient poles and the rotor yoke and which, to counteract loads acting on the pole shoe during operation of the electric machine, connect pole shoe regions of the pole shoe that project laterally on the corresponding pole shaft to the rotor yoke.

  • Publication number: 20220123612
Abstract: A rotor for a permanently energized electrical machine includes at least two rotor poles arranged next to one another in the circumferential direction; a rotor iron core; and a permanent magnet assembly embedded in the rotor iron core for generating a magnetic air-gap flux density, the assembly having at least one permanent magnet per rotor pole and the permanent magnet being divided into at least two permanent magnet parts. A crosspiece is arranged between the at least two permanent magnet parts of a permanent magnet the crosspiece separates two hollow spaces for receiving the permanent magnet parts, has magnetically conductive support sections for increasing a mechanical stiffness of the rotor iron core and for discharging external magnetic fluxes in the event of an active short circuit introduced into the electrical machine, and has magnetically insulating flux-blocking sections for reducing magnetic leakage fluxes.

  • Publication number: 20220045567
Abstract: A rotor includes at least two rotor poles, a rotor iron core which has at least one cavity per rotor pole, wherein webs are formed between the cavities and the exterior of the rotor iron core in the radial direction and an embedded permanent magnet assembly for generating a magnetic air gap flux density, the assembly having at least one permanent magnet per rotor pole in the respective cavity. In order to influence the curve of the magnetic air gap flux density, magnetic flux blocking sections and magnetic flux conducting sections are arranged in an alternating manner in the at least one web of each rotor pole along the circumferential direction, wherein the magnetic flux blocking sections are designed to conduct a magnetic flux within the adjacent magnetic flux conducting section and have different geometries in the circumferential direction starting from a rotor pole center to rotor pole edges.

  • Publication number: 20220029483
Abstract: A moving part for a permanently excited electrical machine includes a laminated core and an embedded permanent-magnet system, which has, for each magnetic pole, a first permanent-magnet configuration and a second permanent-magnet configuration for jointly generating a magnetic air-gap flux density in an air gap of the electrical machine, which air gap adjoins an outer side of the laminated core, by superimposition of magnetic fluxes of the two permanent-magnet configurations. The two permanent-magnet configurations have, for each magnetic pole, different arrangements and magnetization orientations with respect to a movement axis of the moving part, and a magnetic flux which results from an arrangement and magnetization orientation of the second permanent-magnet configuration is configured to act on a magnetic flux which results from an arrangement and magnetization orientation of the first permanent-magnet configuration to reduce its magnetic stray flux component.

  • Patent number: 11211854
Abstract: An electrical machine has a primary part, a secondary part and an air gap in which an air gap winding with two phases is arranged on an iron core of the primary part. Magnetic poles alternate on an iron core of the secondary part. A magnetic circuit runs via two poles, the iron core in the secondary part, twice through the air gap and the iron core in the primary part. For each pole and phase, a winding strand lies perpendicular to a magnetic flux density in the air gap. Alternating head pieces connect neighbouring winding strands of a phase of the air gap winding to form a conductor. The primary part has a slot winding with two phases in slots of the iron core. For each pole and each phase, a winding strand lies parallel to the winding strand of the air gap winding associated with the same pole.
