  • Publication number: 20230099263
Abstract: Systems and methods are for securing link aggregation are provided. According to an embodiment, a network device in a secure domain discovers device information associated with a peer network device in an untrusted domain that is connected through a first link directly connecting a first interface of the network device to a first interface of the peer network device, and authenticates the peer while allowing at least some network traffic to continue to be transmitted through the first interface. The network device establishes a secure session between the network device and the peer over the first link when the peer network device is successfully authenticated. The network device then allows the first link to operate as part of a single aggregated logical link, including a second link coupling a second interface of the network device to a second interface of the peer network device.

  • Publication number: 20210277439
Abstract: An method of malaria detection includes providing an interdigitated sensor having a first electrode with a plurality of fingers and a second electrode with a plurality of fingers, interspersed and spaced apart from the fingers of the first electrode. A quantity of blood to be tested is received on the sensor. The blood is to be dried and is measured for at least one measurable characteristic, including a resistance of the blood. The presence of malaria infected blood is determined based on a comparison between the measurable characteristics and a predetermined threshold related to the measurable characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20150032842
Abstract: In a web page provision method and system, a user terminal transmits to a server service data and a barcode generation request associated with the service data. The server generates a service web page corresponding to the service data, and a web address of the service web page. The server generates a web address alias based on the web address and at least one alternative web address at which a specific web page is located in response to the barcode generation request from the user terminal. The server generates a two-dimensional barcode corresponding to the web address alias.

  • Patent number: 8300696
Abstract: A system and method that computes a threshold based on an average sum of absolute residual (SAR) values and a standard deviation, each SAR corresponding to the sum of absolute values of the residual signal of a non-intra encoded macroblock in a frame of a first video stream encoded according to a first video specification, decodes the macroblocks of the frame, compares a SAR of one of the macroblocks to the threshold, the one of the macroblocks having a first motion vector; and provides the first motion vector for encoding the one of the macroblocks according to a second video specification if the SAR of the one of the macroblocks is less than the threshold.

  • Patent number: 7782051
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of handling rapid phase aliasing in magnetic resonance images arising from local magnetic susceptibility differences. The methods of the present invention can be used to estimate the field effects within an object arising from the interfaces of regions having differences in magnetic susceptibilities, and to subtract out the resulting phase from the original or source phase data prior to any further phase processing. The methods of the present invention also include a process of accurately determining the susceptibility values of multiple voxel regions based on the geometry of such regions.

  • Patent number: 7692424
Abstract: A method comprises digitally representing a volume of space as a plurality of voxels and assigning real and imaginary values derived from magnetic resonance imaging data of the space to each of the voxels. Furthermore, the method comprises a steps of calculating a first complex summation of the real and imaginary values of a first set of the voxels, and calculating a second complex summation of the real and imaginary values of a second set of the voxels. Each set of voxels represents a different region of the volume of space. The regions are concentric. The method also comprises steps of using the first and second summations, along with another value quantitatively calculated from the magnetic resonance imaging data, to calculate a value that is dependent upon the approximate magnetic moment of an object within the volume of space, and digitally representing and storing said value.

  • Patent number: 6255954
Abstract: The present invention includes a method of detecting contamination in a fluid sample includes bringing a fluid sample into contact with a pair of spaced apart electrodes and applying a plurality of voltages across the electrodes, wherein the plurality of voltages vary in magnitude between a first and second voltage level. The current is then measured between the electrodes at the plurality of voltages and a contamination level is determined using the measured currents. The present invention also includes a system for determining a particulate contamination level in a fluid sample. The system includes a sensor including a pair of spaced apart electrodes, wherein the fluid sample is brought into contact with the electrodes for detection of the level of particulate contamination therein, and a voltage application means for applying a voltage across the spaced apart electrodes. The system also further includes a current sensor coupled to one of the electrodes.
