The electroluminescent layer includes: a host material capable of electroluminescence having an emission color that is blue; a first electroluminescent dopant having an emission color that is green; and a second electroluminescent dopant having an emission color that is in the red/orange region. The additive mixing of all the emitted colors results in an overall emission of white light.
