  • Patent number: 5143340
Abstract: A support between the floor (22) and the roof (24) of e.g. a mine stope, is made by using an inflatable container comprising an inner bag (10), received in an outer bag (12). An inlet valve (14) extends through both bags as does a relatively higher pressure relief outlet valve (16). In use, air is pumped into the container until it is fully inflated, following by a grout, the air escaping via the valve (16) until the inner bag (10) is filled.

  • Patent number: 4403716
Abstract: A support rack for vehicles, i.e., automobiles, and the like which is particularly adapted for alternate support and storage of bicycles in one position and for the storage of general materials such as trunks, trash barrels, camping equipment gear, and the like in an alternate position. The storage rack includes a frame which in the bicycle supporting position is positioned in an upright attitude and in the general material supporting position is in a generally horizontal position vis-a-vis the rear or front end of the vehicle on which it is supported. • Patent number: 4075966
Abstract: A spring biased snap hook having a body fabricated from a developed sheet metal blank. The body has a pair of recessed areas extending inwardly from one edge thereof and this one edge also includes locking member receiving areas spaced longitudinally therealong. An elongated locking member is received in these receiving areas and is longitudinally movable along the one body edge between a first position blocking access to both recess areas and a second position providing access to one of the recessed areas. A spring bias continuously urges the locking member toward the first position. A handle or keeper member is releasably affixed to the outermost end of the locking member to retain this member in operable association with the body. Removal of the handle or keeper permits the locking member to be moved longitudinally along the one body edge in a direction opposite to the movement thereof from the first to the second position in order to provide selective access to the other of the recess areas.
