    Abstract: An electro-hydraulic fluid metering and control device with a position sensor having a plane of geometric symmetry. The control device includes a valve body with a plurality of ports and channels for fluid flow, a torque motor mounted on the valve body and responsive to an electrical driving signal, a valve, an armature operating in the torque motor and extending to operate the valve and position sensor and spring members for supporting the armature for pivotal movement to assure direct relationship between the valve and moving member of the position sensor.
