  • Publication number: 20240113974
Abstract: Mobile management method, system and client. Method includes receiving a DNS query for a host name from an application on client; retrieving reputation data associated with host name from a local cache on client; and determining a policy based on host name and the reputation data. Based on determined policy for the host name, blocking attempted network flows to a host corresponding to host name to produce blocked attempted network flows. Method also includes sending attempted network flow metadata related to the blocked attempted network flows to a collector on client; transmitting the attempted network flow metadata from the collector to a VPN server pool via a VPN tunnel; and producing an anomaly report from the transmitted attempted network flow metadata. The anomaly report includes at least one of anomalies, cohorts, trends, location boundaries, detected network security issues, detected compromised clients and/or optimized network usage.

  • Patent number: 11730381
Abstract: An apparatus for locating a source of vibrational cardiac energy within a human, includes a data processing system configured to accept vibrational cardiac data collected by at least three transducers during a plurality of heart cycles. A computer readable medium containing executable computer program instructions which, when executed by the data processing system, cause the data processing system to perform steps that include, performing a time-to-frequency transformation on the vibrational cardiac data acquired within at least a portion of the heart cycles. The time-to-frequency transformation is applied to the vibrational cardiac data acquired synchronously from each transducer to obtain a plurality of complex frequency spectra. The steps include identifying a vernier band (VB) of frequency associated with a feature derived from the plurality of complex frequency spectra.

  • Patent number: 11412984
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed to establish sensor locations on a human's body. A reference plane structure establishes a measurement datum. A plurality of fixtures is provided. Each fixture of the plurality contains at least one sensor and provides a tensile preload to the at least one sensor. A first fixture of the plurality is supported by the reference plane structure. A location on the human's body is associated with each sensor. Each location on the human's body is established using the measurement datum and a contact point of each sensor. The plurality is articulated together to conform to a shape of the human's body such that, when in use, each sensor is in contact with the human's body, and each location is defined by the measurement datum and a contact point of each sensor.

  • Patent number: 11134858
Abstract: A method of locating a source of vibrational cardiac energy within a human, includes acquiring time synchronized vibrational cardiac data noninvasively from a surface of the human's body with at least three transducer channels. A time-to-frequency transformation is performed on the vibrational cardiac data to obtain a sequence of heart cycle ensemble averaged power spectral density (PSD) estimates. A feature is identified in the PSD estimates. A vernier band (VB) in frequency is established for the feature. The VB portion of the PSI) estimates that correspond to the feature are processed to obtain a vibrational energy intensity level estimate at a spatial location within the human's body. A metric of clinical significance is obtained from the strength of the estimated vibration intensity within a VB and at a location relative to a background noise level.

  • Patent number: 10324809
Abstract: Techniques related to cache recovery for failed database instances are disclosed. A first database instance and a second database instance share a primary persistent storage and a secondary persistent storage. Each database instance stores, in volatile memory, a respective primary cache of a respective set of data stored on the primary persistent storage. Each database instance also stores, in volatile memory, a respective set of header data. Further, each database instance moves the respective set of data from the respective primary cache to a respective secondary cache on the secondary persistent storage. Still further, each database instance stores, on the secondary persistent storage, a respective set of persistent metadata. When the first database instance becomes inoperative, the second database instance retrieves, from the secondary persistent storage, persistent metadata corresponding to data stored in a secondary cache of the first database instance.

  • Patent number: 10163325
Abstract: A sensor housing system is used to monitor the lifetime of a motor or other device. A protected housing shields a microprocessor and several sensors. The device communicates to a user information about the health of the motor or other device using thermal, vibrational, or other measurements. The information is compared to a baseline which provides a warning threshold. Once the threshold is passed, the microprocessor can alert the user that the motor or other device is about to fail.
