  • Patent number: 4998573
Abstract: A tractor supported and driven tree cutting apparatus which causes linear movement of a rotary cutter for cutting a tree trunk from the side portions thereof. The apparatus incorporates a frame structure having a hydraulically driven slide support guided by parallel structural members of the frame. The rotary cutter is rotatably supported by the slide structure and is driven by the power take-off of the tractor which is operatively connected to a drive gear mechanism connected to the rotary cutter. The rotary cutter includes cutting teeth angularly mounted about the periphery thereof for cutting the tree trunk below ground level.

  • Patent number: 4681145
Abstract: A tractor supported and driven mechanism for removing tree stumps which causes linear movement of a rotary cutter disk for milling away stumps from the side portions thereof is disclosed. The mechanism incorporates a frame structure having a hydraulically driven slide supported and guided by parallel structural members of the frame. The cutter disk is rotatably supported on the slide structure and is driven by the power take-off of the tractor by means of an elongated non-circular drive shaft which is received in driving engagement by a central non-circular drive opening of the cutter. The cutter disk is movable along the length of the non-circular drive shaft while maintaining driving engagement therewith. The hydraulic system of the apparatus is a closed loop system independent of the tractor hydraulics.

  • Patent number: 4621668
Abstract: A tractor supported and driven mechanism for removing tree stumps and splitting logs which causes linear movement of a rotary cutter disk for milling away stumps from the side portions thereof and a ram assembly forcing a log against a wedge member.

  • Patent number: 4397112
Abstract: For use in supporting a rifle, the illustrated and preferred embodiment discloses a detachable bipod which is constructed with a pair of identical legs joined together at a pivot pin, the legs terminating in curved and polished faces, the two faces opposing one another to grasp and extend around the barrel of a weapon for holding the weapon, the bipod further including in the preferred and illustrated embodiment a coil spring between the two legs. The spring forces the legs apart. In addition, the two legs have facing hooks which latch against one another.

  • Patent number: 4276808
Abstract: An attachment for a semiautomatic weapon constructed with a trigger and trigger guard is disclosed, and the preferred embodiment incorporates a clamp means adapted to be releasably attached to the trigger guard, a rotor means pivotally supported by said clamp means for rotation about an axis to drive a movable striker means in a reciprocating fashion against the trigger enclosed by the trigger guard. A laterally extending handle equipped with a knob at the outer end is rotatable to turn a shaft which, in turn, rotates the rotor.
