  • Patent number: 7596622
Abstract: An apparatus and method for processing a web service description such that the web service description is adapted for use with mobile devices. A web services accelerator is adapted to receive a web service description that defines an interface to a web service, create at least one accelerator output file from the web service description, and transmit the at least one accelerator output file to a mobile device. Accelerator output files are used by the mobile device to invoke web services.

  • Publication number: 20090187836
Abstract: An apparatus and method for aggregating web services in generating a user interface for a computing device. Web service descriptions are received that define a web service interface to each of a plurality of web services. The web service descriptions are processed to identify inputs to first web services obtainable by invoking one or more second web services. A user interface is generated for the computing device that aggregates these first and second web services. By identifying instances in which the input to one web service may be obtained by invoking another web service, a user interface which aggregates these web services may be automatically generated.

  • Publication number: 20070137889
Abstract: A multi-strand printed circuit board substrate for ball-grid array (BGA) assemblies includes a printed wiring board (11) having a plurality of BGA substrates (12) arranged in N rows (14) and M columns (16) to form an N by M array. N and M are greater than or equal to 2 and the size of the N by M array is selected such that each of the plurality of BGA substrates (12) maintains a planarity variation less than approximately 0.15 mm (approximately 6 mils). The printed wiring board (11) has a thickness (26) sufficient to minimize planarity variation and to allow a manufacturer to use automated assembly equipment without having to use support pallets or trays.

  • Publication number: 20050006730
Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, a semiconductor component includes: a leadframe (110, 210, 310, 410) having a surface (111, 211, 311, 411); an integrated passive component (120, 220, 320, 420) located above the surface of the leadframe; a semiconductor chip (130, 230, 330, 430) electrically coupled to the integrated passive component and located above the surface of the leadframe; and a mold compound (140, 240, 340, 440) disposed around the semiconductor chip, the integrated passive component, and the leadframe. A portion (112, 212, 312, 412) of the leadframe is exposed outside of the mold compound. The integrated passive component comprises a passive device (121, 221, 321, 421). A direction (190, 290, 390, 490) perpendicular to the surface of the leadframe is a vertical direction, and the semiconductor chip, the integrated passive component, and the leadframe are arranged vertically with respect to each other.

  • Patent number: 4116829
Abstract: An apparatus and a method are described for separating magnetizable particles from a fluid in which they are suspended. The apparatus comprises a separating chamber having an inlet and an outlet for permitting fluid to enter and leave the separating chamber, a matrix of a plurality of ferromagnetic filaments arranged substantially parallel to one another and to the general direction of flow of fluid through the matrix and disposed in the separating chamber, magnet means for establishing a high intensity magnetic field in the separating chamber perpendicular to the general direction of flow of the fluid through the matrix, and removal means for removing magnetizable particles attracted to the matrix within the separating chamber.
