Abstract: Viewing devices are disclosed herein. One embodiment of a viewing device is a digital camera having at least one function. And embodiment of the digital camera comprises a touch pad, wherein in which a stylus that is moved relative to the touch pad is detectable by the digital camera. The speed at which the function is performed corresponds to the speed that the stylus is moved relative to the touch pad.

Abstract: A digital camera is disclosed herein. An embodiment of the digital camera comprises a display, wherein previously captured images are displayable on the display when the camera is in a first mode. Images of scenes that are capturable by the camera are displayable on the display when the camera is in a second mode. A touch pad is located proximate the display. Contact of a stylus on the touch pad causes the display to display different previously captured images when the camera is in the first mode. At least one icon representative of at least one function is displayable on the display when the camera is in the second mode. Contact by a stylus on the touch pad proximate the icon causes the at least one function to activate.

Abstract: An exemplary user interface for a digital camera has a non linear configuration to provide a more ergonomic control function for a user of the camera. The interface may take the form of a touchpad and, in one exemplary embodiment, may be used to control camera zoom.

Abstract: A user provides a plurality of digital images of a single subject all taken from a single location and with common camera settings. This set of digital images is parsed one pixel location at a time. For each pixel location, a set of pixel colors is extracted from each of the plurality of digital images. For each of these pixel colors, a relationship parameter to each of the other pixel colors in the set is calculated. Using this relationship parameter information, the final desired pixel color is chosen and applied to the pixel location in a final image.
