  • Patent number: 5901879
Abstract: The dispenser device of the invention comprises a liquid storage tank overlying an intermediate chamber partially filled with liquid. The top storage tank is fluidingly linked to the intermediate chamber, and a first valve controls the liquid flow under the gravity force from the top tank into the intermediate chamber. The intermediate chamber comprises on its bottom wall an outlet port for allowing liquid to be dispensed therethrough under the gravity force and under the pressure of the overlying liquid, the liquid flow through the chamber outlet port being controlled by a second valve. A small computer is linked to the first and second valves and to a float gauge floating on the liquid located inside the intermediate chamber. Thus, the computer detects by means of the float gauge any variation of the level of liquid inside the intermediate chamber. In use, the data concerning the precise quantity of liquid which is desired is entered into the computer.

  • Patent number: 4510545
Abstract: A capstan cleaner for cassettes is disclosed, comprising a standard cassette casing provided with a cleansing wad located at the front end of the casing opposite the capstan of a cassette player when the cassette casing is in position therein. A pair of upright members are provided in the casing on either side of the wad. A flexible band has a rear end projecting out of the rear side of the casing and a front end portion passing over the front surface of both upright members and behind the wad. The front end of the band is rigidly secured to a peg spaced rearwardly and away from the wad in the casing. Pulling the rear end of the band biases the wad frontwardly into contact with the capstan for efficient cleansing thereof.

  • Patent number: 4134170
Abstract: A device to clean the tape of an eight-track cartridge to avoid slippage thereof and thus extend the useful life of such cartridge. This cartridge tape cleaning device includes a casing made of a pair of shallow box sections hinged together in clamshell fashion, each forming a cartridge holding compartment, and having in one of them a pair of wiping pads which are removable and adjustable relative to each other. This casing is portable and adapted to carry a tape cartridge therein, the wiping pads extend transversely of the shallow box sections and the latter are formed with a pair of notches in a lateral wall thereof defining with the wiping pads a path for the tape which loops externally of the casing.
