Abstract: There is disclosed a hydraulic turbine which is constructed primarily of plastic and uses water to lubricate the bearing joints and gear meshings. The invention provides a turbine which is light in weight for easier installation, low in cost and virtually maintenance free reducing the trouble involved with maintenance and possible breakdown. The invention is well suited to drive an electric turbine for micro-hydroelectric applications.
