  • Patent number: 11661882
Abstract: The invention presented is a crossover section for a vehicle exhaust system that includes a middle pipe and two outer pipes, each outer pipe in contact with and attached to the middle pipe. Diversion gates extend from the middle pipe into each of the outer pipes to divert a sample of exhaust gas into the middle pipe. A sensor, such as an oxygen sensor, is provided to measure one or more components of the combined exhaust. Also provided is an exhaust system that includes the inventive crossover section and a vehicle that includes one or more of the inventive exhaust systems.

  • Publication number: 20210022370
Abstract: Compositions comprising feedstocks with high oleic acid content for ruminant feed, calcium soaps of the feedstocks, and methods of preparing ruminant feed and its use to increase fatty acid digestibility, increase milk production, increase milk fat, or increase body fat deposition in cows are presented. The high oleic acid feedstocks include from about 50 wt % to about 70 wt % oleic acid; no more than about 25 wt % polyunsaturated fatty acids; and unsaturated fatty acids, wherein less than about 20% of the fatty acids are present as a glyceride.

  • Publication number: 20070190224
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for use in producing feed for a ruminant utilize information about sources of blood meal to provide a formulation for an optimum and cost-effective feed. The ruminant feed has a minimum metabolizable nutrient level for at least one nutrient, e.g., protein. Ruminant feed may be produced by determining a metabolizable nutrient level in a low quality blood meal and determining a quantity of low quality blood meal for blending with a quantity of a high quality blood meal having a second metabolizable nutrient level to produce the ruminant feed having the minimum metabolizable nutrient level.
