  • Patent number: 6905017
Abstract: A tray and method for packaging muffin pans and liners. The tray surrounds the outer bottom and side surfaces of the packaged muffin pans and muffin liners, protecting the same from damage. The tray includes an engagement portion with a lower surface and a lip, whereby rims defined by the packaged muffin pans are securely held therebetween. An integral hang tab extends outwardly from the packaging tray to enable the tray with packaged muffin pans and liners to be hung from a display rack. The muffin pans are snap-locked into the tray by pressing the rims against the lip, which flexes allowing the muffin pans to pass by and then snaps back to retain the muffin pans and muffin liners within the tray.

  • Publication number: 20040188452
Abstract: This invention relates to a plastic disposable lid having a continuous perimeter wall surrounding the lid. At least a portion of the perimeter wall is formed by at least ten segmented flutes. When the lid is rectangular or oval, there are preferably an equal number of segmented flutes on opposite sides of the lid i.e. 3 on each side and 2 on each end of a rectangular or oval lid. The segmented flutes having a combined width equal to at least 50% of the length of the perimeter wall with each of these segmented flutes having an indented surface forming at least a portion of the inside surface of the lid, and a raised surface forming at least a portion of the outer surface of the perimeter wall. These segmented flutes preferably have a width of 0.75 to 2.0 inches and a segmented depth of about ⅛ to ⅜ inches. Another feature is having a shoulder assembly that has fastener tabs and the shoulder assembly is sized to surround a food container i.e.

  • Publication number: 20040089658
Abstract: This invention relates to an interchangeable one-piece disposable foil pan/lid having a continuous side wall and a rim surrounding the pan/lid. The side wall is preferably inclined and preferably has a scalloped profile of equally sized scallops. The base wall preferably has circular scalloped raised and recessed portions. The rim has a pair of handles with a rolled-over bead on the periphery of the rim and if desired on the periphery of the handles. The handles extend on opposite ends of the pan/lid and one handle has a relatively long female detent and the other handle has a corresponding relatively long male detent. This preferred configuration provides my interchangeable disposable aluminum foil pan/lid with the desired ease of attaching the interchangeable lid to the interchangeable pan and gives the joined pair stability.

  • Publication number: 20040084462
Abstract: This invention relates to a disposable foil roaster tent having at least three walls, two of which are side walls and a third of which is a top wall. The perimeter of the side and top walls preferably is formed into a rolled-over bead. The disposable roaster tent is preferably constructed to be used with a roasting pans that has a retaining means on the rim of the pan such as a bead or in the case of a disposable foil pan, a rolled-over bead on the perimeter of the pan so that the roaster tent can be easily held on or easily removed from the pan.

  • Patent number: 6711989
Abstract: This invention relates to an interchangeable disposable pan/cover having a continuous wall and a rim surrounding the pan/cover. The wall is preferably inclined and the rim is divided into two substantially equal first rim and second rim sections. The first rim section has a rolled-over bead formed at the outer end thereof. The end of the second rim section has a bead accommodating indent. The bead accommodating indent is sized so that when the bead of the first rim section rests in the bead accommodation indent, the lower surface of the first rim section abuts the upper surface of the second rim section. To have a pair of the interchangeable disposable pan/covers easily joined, each pan/cover has an orientation and closing flange extending upwardly from the outer end of the second rim section and extending substantially perpendicular to the base wall.

  • Patent number: 6293458
Abstract: This invention relates to a disposable foil pan having a continuous wall and a top ridge surrounding the pan. The wall has at least 10 spaced wall segmented flutes. There are preferably an equal number of segmented flutes on opposite sides of the pan i.e. 3 on each side and 2 on each end of a rectangular or oval pan. The wall segmented flutes having a combined width equal to at least 35% of the length of the wall. Each wall segmented flute has an indented surface facing an inside of the pan, and a raised surface forming the outer wall of the pan. The segmented flutes preferably have a segment length of 0.75 to 2.0 inches and a segmented depth of about ⅛ to ⅜ inches.

  • Patent number: 6237803
Abstract: An assembly of a formed wire roasting rack, a roasting pan and a foil cover, each of which is removable from the rack. Each of the pan and cover has a base, an upstanding sidewall, a rim and a peripheral bead formation surrounding the rim. The rack has a first pair of parallel elongated wire form sections terminating in upwardly extending portions providing outwardly extending wire handles, and a second elongated wire form section extending transverse to the first wire section and terminating in an upwardly extending portion at each end. At each end thereof, a bead gripping formation is provided. The bead gripping formations are sized and proportioned to grippingly retain the pair of pan and cover bead formations when one of the pan and covers is inverted to overlie and cover the other.
