  • Publication number: 20140222881
Abstract: A networked gaming system and method with a central true random number generator (“TRNG”) for generating random numbers (“RNs”). The RNs are supplied to electronic gaming machines (“EGMs”) on a network and are used to determine game outcomes. The system and method are configured to gather requests for RNs from EGMs in batches that are coordinated by a RNG server where the RNG server receives RN requests from EGMs and routes the requests in batches to the central TRNG. The central TRNG responds to the RNG server with a batch of RNs that are then distributed to the EGMs within an acceptable response time.

  • Publication number: 20140221074
Abstract: A gaming machine has a standard game play mode, and a bonus feature game play mode. The bonus feature mode includes a win chain counter having an integer value. During standard game play mode, the user interface randomly displays a matrix of symbols and the computer calculates the wins based on the matrix of symbols. On appearance of a predetermined number of scatter symbols, bonus feature play commences and a the win chain counter is initialized. During bonus feature play, a winning spin initializes a first win chain, and a first non-winning spin decrements the win chain counter value, after a first win chain is initialized, and prior to a non-winning spin, winning spins are added to the first win chain. Subsequent win chains are generated and terminated by a non-winning spin until the win chain counter is decremented to zero. Then bonus feature game play terminates.

  • Publication number: 20130217494
Abstract: The present invention is a gaming machine such as a slot machine having a housing with a light-effect arrangement for creation of light effects. The gaming machine has at least one reflector arranged on the housing such that the reflector is positioned with respect to a remote light source to reflect a light beam from the remote light source at least partly towards the front of the housing. The housing may include a light source, which may be a strip of LED lights that emits a light beam. This arrangement is particularly beneficial in modern gaming devices. A higher degree of design freedom relative to light source arrangement is achieved through the use of reflectors and the light source.

  • Publication number: 20130184076
Abstract: The present invention relates to a gaming machine and/or entertainment machine, in particular in the form of slot machines and/or gambling machines operable by coins and/or by monetary equivalents, having a plurality of screens for the presentation of information, in particular of game contents and/or of game information, which are directed toward a machine operating position, and having a control device for the control of the screens and/or for the control of game procedures. It is proposed to arrange a plurality of screens staggered behind one another and overlapping one another so that the viewing window onto at least one screen remains behind the actual screen surface of the screen with respect to format and/or size in order to accommodate a maximum number of screens in a compact arrangement, on the one hand, and in order not to be restricted to the desired field of view with respect to the formats of the screens to be used.
