  • Patent number: 10523227
Abstract: An A/D converter includes an adder that calculates a difference between an analog input signal and a predicted value, a quantizer that quantizes the difference output from the adder to convert the analog input signal to a digital signal, a prediction filter that generates a predicted value from the digital signal output from the quantizer, and a D/A converter that converts the predicted value from a digital signal to an analog signal and output the predicted value to the adder. The predicted value before being subjected to conversion to the analog signal by the D/A converter defines and functions as an A/D converted output of the analog input signal input to the adder.

  • Patent number: 9189530
Abstract: A process includes selecting a node associated with an extracted node and a node associated with the node accepted by an acceptance unit accepting a node from nodes included in a node link obtained from text relating to a specific matter, accepting a first item in which a registered content of an analysis target is registered, from items in a table relating to the specific matter, accepting the registered content of the analysis target, a second item for use in calculating degrees of association between registered contents in the first item in the table and nodes; calculating the degrees of association between each of the registered content in the first item in the table and the nodes selected, according to a registered content in the second item in the table; and extracting a node associated with the analysis target from the selected nodes, according to the calculated degrees of association.

  • Patent number: 9027435
Abstract: A control cable attachment structure for attaching a control cable to an anchoring member. A plate-part-side attachment groove, includes an anchoring groove in which an attachment part is positioned and anchored, and a constricted part that is connected to the anchoring groove and is narrower than the anchoring groove. The attachment part of the control cable has an engaging part that is engaged by the anchoring groove and is wider than the constricted part, an approximately parallel pair of opposing surfaces respectively opposing the front and rear of a plate surface of the anchor plate part, and an anchoring groove, the surface of which is formed by the pair of opposing surfaces, and in which the peripheral parts of the plate-part-side attachment grove of the anchor plate part engage. The one opposing surface is provided with a protruding part that protrudes toward the other opposing surface.

  • Patent number: 6776338
Abstract: An IC card reader comprises a card transport path for passing an IC card, an abutting portion and an IC contact, which contacts a contact terminal pattern of the IC card and is capable of coming close to or being distanced from the IC card. The IC card reader further comprises a card discharge port, which is provided at the rear end of said card transport path, regulation means for regulating a distance between said IC contact block and the card transport path, a driving portion for releasing control of the distance and a stopper for aligning the IC contact block to the card transport path. When the IC card left on the card transport path needs to be discharged from the card discharge port, control of the regulation means is released so that the abutting portion and the IC contact are distanced from the card transport path at least to a position such that the IC card cannot contact thereagainst.

  • Patent number: 6659348
Abstract: A manual IC card reader has a recess at a frame constructing a card insertion slot in the card insertion direction for inserting and removing a card. The card insertion slot is configured to project an IC contact block toward a card pathway as the IC contact block comes in and then let the card be removed after data communication rolling elements in a free rotational condition provided in a front vicinity of a card stop position in the card direction to reduce an insertion load on the IC card when the IC card projects the IC contacts block toward the card pathway.
