  • Patent number: 10855075
Abstract: A surge protective circuit is connected between a single-phase AC power source and an apparatus that operates with electric power supplied from the AC power source to suppress an overvoltage applied from the AC power source to the apparatus. The surge protective circuit includes: a first constant-voltage device and a first discharge device connected in series between a first ground terminal and a non-ground-side terminal of the AC power source; and a second constant-voltage device and a second discharge device connected in series between a second ground terminal and a ground-side terminal of the AC power source. A midpoint between the first constant-voltage device and the first discharge device and a midpoint between the second constant-voltage device and the second discharge device are connected.

  • Patent number: 6416565
Abstract: A method of oxygen-smelting copper sulfide concentrate to obtain white metal, nearly white metal matte or blister copper by removing most of the Fe in the copper sulfide concentrate into the slag as well as removing part or most of the S therein as SO2 wherein oxygen-smelting is carried out to produce; slag in which a weight ratio of CaO to (SiO2+CaO) is 0.3 to 0.6 and a weight ratio of Fe to (FeOx+SiO2+CaO) is 0.2 to 0.5, and white metal, nearly white metal matte or blister copper, by adding SiO2 material and CaO material to the copper sulfide concentrate as flux.

  • Patent number: 5087974
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for image processing capable of solving the problem of out of standard image signals, with a least amount of a deterioration of the image quality and a distortion of the image produced at the central region of the image. In this apparatus, the out of standard image signals having missing portions are treated by a horizontal blanking width correction process in which only those parts of the video signals corresponding to horizontally peripheral regions of the image are enlarged to supplement the missing portions of the video signals, and then the parts of the video signals corresponding to the central region of the image and the horizontally peripheral regions of the image are combined to obtain full video signals without missing portions.

  • Patent number: 4956340
Abstract: A process for preparing compound metal oxides, superconductive compound oxides, is disclosed. The process comprises preparing an aqueous solution containing a predetermined content ratio of chloride, nitrate or acetate of a rare earth metal, an alkaline earth metal and copper, said content ration corresponding to the composition of the object compound metal oxide, adjusting the pH of the solution to 1.5-2.0, adding oxalic acid in an amount such that the concentration of the residual oxalic acid becomes 0.05 M/l-0.1 M/l, collecting the thus formed precipitate and firing it.

  • Patent number: 4886777
Abstract: A process for preparing compound metal oxides, a superconductive compound oxides for instance, is disclosed. The process comprises preparing an aqueous solution containing a predetermined content ratio of chloride, nitrate or acetate of a rare earth metal, an alkaline earth metal and copper, slightly basifying the solution to form hydroxides of the rare earth metal and copper and then introducing carbon dioxide to form carbonate of the alkaline earth metal, collecting the thus formed mixed precipitate of hydroxides and carbonate and firing it.
