  • Patent number: 12130634
Abstract: A mobile object control device (1) includes a first detection unit (21), a second detection unit (22), and a stillness determination unit (24). On the basis of a sensor mounted on a mobile object (100) that moves autonomously, the first detection unit (21) detects a movement state of the mobile object (100). The second detection unit (22) detects at least one of cartographic information at a current location of the mobile object (100), object information present in a periphery of the mobile object (100), and operation information of a movable portion included in the mobile object (100). The stillness determination unit (24) determines whether the mobile object (100) is in a static state on the basis of the movement state detected by the first detection unit (21) and the information detected by the second detection unit (22).

  • Patent number: 6507728
Abstract: In a radio transceiver operating in a time division duplex system, a cancellation use transmission signal which is reverse in phase and equal in amplitude to a leakage transmission signal from an antenna in the signal transmission is supplied to an input port of the receiving amplifier of a receiver connected to an antenna system applied in common to the signal transmission. The transmission signal is fed via a circulator, which separates a transmission and reception path, to the antenna. The leakage transmission signal from the antenna is inputted via the circulator to the receiving amplifier. The cancellation use transmission signal is fed to the receiving amplifier via a second circulator which distributes the transmission signal and cancellation use signal disposed at an output side of the transmitting amplifier.

  • Patent number: 5995811
Abstract: In a radio loop-back test system for a radio apparatus in which a transmitter (15) transmits a first radio signal in response to a transmission signal and which a receiver (16) receives a second radio signal to produce a reception signal, a comparing portion (22) compares the reception signal with the transmission signal to produce a comparison result signal. An interference detection portion (23) detects whether or not the reception signal has an interference component unrelated with the first radio signal. The interference detection portion produces an interference detection signal when the reception signal has the interference component. The comparison result signal is controlled by an output control portion (24) in accordance with presence and absence of the interference detection signal.

  • Patent number: 5603099
Abstract: A transmitter/receiver has a superheterodyne receiver, a transmitter, a local oscillation signal generating section for transmission, a first and a second local oscillation signal generating section for reception, and a fixed frequency divider. A reference signal fed from the outside of the transmitter/receiver is applied to the second reception local oscillation signal generating section having a low loop gain. The output of the second reception local oscillation signal generating section is applied to the fixed frequency divider as well as to the receiver. The resulting output of the fixed frequency divider is fed as a reference signal meant for the transmission local oscillation signal generating section and first reception local oscillation signal generating section. The transmitter/receiver prevents the modulation accuracy of a signal to be transmitted and reception sensitivity from being degraded even when the reference signal introduced from the outside involves noise.

  • Patent number: 5551072
Abstract: A reception field detection apparatus includes a field intensity detection circuit, a correction value setting circuit, an adder, and a first converter. The field intensity detector generates a first digital signal representing a value corresponding to the signal intensity of a received signal. The correction value setting circuit generates a second digital signal representing the correction value of the signal intensity of the received signal in accordance with setting. The adder adds the first digital signal from the field intensity detector to the second digital signal from the correction value setting circuit to generate a third digital signal. The first converter generates a fourth digital signal representing a corrected reception field intensity on the basis of the third digital signal from the adder.

  • Patent number: 5406591
Abstract: A frequency synthesizer and a frequency synthesizing method are disclosed. They are used to achieve frequency switching in a short time even though the switched width of an output frequency signal from the frequency synthesizer is narrow. A gate pulse generator circuit generates a gate pulse signal using a frequency division number data activation signal upon setting the output frequency from the frequency synthesizer. A gate circuit interrupts a reference frequency signal over a predetermined time interval with the aid of the gate pulse signal and thereafter drives a voltage-controlled oscillator to oscillate at a new frequency with the aid of a phase comparator, a charge pump circuit, and a low-pass filter.

  • Patent number: 5400372
Abstract: A frequency synthesizer comprises a voltage controlled oscillator, and a variable frequency divider for dividing the VCO frequency according to the frequency of a communication channel. The output of frequency divider is compared with a reference frequency and a phase difference of first polarity and a phase difference of second polarity are detected. A charge-control voltage is generated with a duration variable with the phase difference of first polarity and a discharge-control voltage with a duration variable with the phase difference of second polarity. First and second integrators are coupled respectively to outputs of the phase comparator for respectively smoothing waveforms of the control voltages. Energy is injected into a charge pump in response to the smoothed charge-control voltage and drained from it in response to the smoothed discharge-control voltage to produce a frequency control signal for coupling to the VCO.

  • Patent number: 5319798
Abstract: A radio transceiver including a PLL synthesizer and is adaptable to a TDMA system in which the frequency of a radio frequency carrier is switched frequently at high speed. When an unlock alarm of the PLL synthesizer is used as one of the device alarms, the unlock alarm to be generated in an initial unlock period which is usually provided every switching of an output frequency of the PLL synthesizer is not used as one of the device alarms. The prohibition of generation of this unlock alarm is started in synchronism with a frequency control signal supplied from a control portion of the radio transceiver to a frequency divider of the PLL synthesizer for switching the carrier frequency and is limited to an OFF period of the carrier transmitting/receiving period.

  • Patent number: 5260973
Abstract: In a device for use in processing a baseband input signal and a carrier signal into an envelope output signal, a processing unit (3) is supplied with the baseband input signal and the carrier signal and produces, as a produced signal, a modulated signal and a non-modulated signal one at a time in response to a burst control signal. A waveform generating unit (2) is supplied with the burst control signal and generates a control signal. An amplifying unit (4) is supplied with the produced signal and the control signal and amplifies the produced signal to make the envelope output signal represent an envelope of the produced signal and to produce the envelope output signal with an excellent spectrum suppression. Alternatively, the processing unit may be supplied with the control signal instead of the burst control signal.
