  • Patent number: 11902745
Abstract: A system comprising a plurality of processing devices is arranged for performing an algorithm having a plurality of computational tasks. The plurality of processing devices are interconnected with each other. A control logic module is adapted to select an implementation of the algorithm among a plurality of implementations. At least a part of the control logic module resides in one of the processing devices and the implementation is selected according to at least one criterion of (latency requirements, computational power, resource availability, data locality, privacy requirements, precision requirements, hardware capabilities, distance, location, acoustical performance requirements, energy efficiency, orientation) and in the selected implementation the plurality of computational tasks of the algorithm is distributed over at least two of the processing devices.

  • Patent number: 10433081
Abstract: A consumer electronics device is arranged for outputting a hearing loss compensated signal. The consumer electronics device comprises an operating system whereon at least one application can be run that yields a sound output signal. Wherein the consumer electronics device further comprises: a first software module adapted for rerouting the sound output signal, and a second software module adapted for receiving from the first software module the rerouted sound output signal, for performing hearing loss compensation on the rerouted sound output signal and for outputting the hearing loss compensated signal.

  • Patent number: 9503824
Abstract: A method for adjusting a parameter on a consumer electronics device is arranged for outputting a hearing loss compensated signal having a plurality of parameters. The consumer electronics device comprises processing means arranged for processing an audio input signal and for generating an audio output signal which is a hearing loss compensated version of the audio input signal. The method comprises producing with the consumer electronics device the audio output signal to be presented to a user. A rotation applied to the consumer electronics device such that the rotation is in a first direction in a substantial horizontal plane and, adjusting at least one parameter relates to the audio output signal's dynamic range, whereby the rotation in the first direction corresponds to a reduction of the dynamic range and a rotation in a direction opposite to the first direction to an increase of the dynamic range, or vice versa.
