  • Patent number: 8733013
Abstract: A flexible fishing lure for use with a fishing rod, line and hook, by virtue of which the lure can be attached via the line to the fishing rod and used in casting wherein the lure uses a soft, elastic material, comprising a body, a first end, a second end, a plurality of rods extending perpendicularly outwardly from a body outer surface with a rod density of from 10 to 70 rods per inch along the body and upon casting the fishing lure, the rods vibrate creating simulated movement as the fishing lure sinks or is drawn through the water, creating simultaneously a life-like appearance with life-like vibrations. The fishing lure with rods can have air containing cavities for creating a visual attraction simultaneously with the life-like appearance and life-like vibrations.

  • Patent number: 7998394
Abstract: A method for making an integrally molded flexible fishing lure, comprising: creating a mold of a lure design, having a head integral with an egg sack, a body integral with the egg sack, and a tapered tail integral with the body. The head, body and tail have a smooth surfaces with a plurality of concentric ridges. At least two air trapping cavities are disposed in the body for trapping and retaining air during lure movement. A polymer comprising polypropylene, polyethylene, urethane, elastomer, or combinations thereof, is poured into the mold, the mold is cured, and the integrally molded flexible fishing lure is removed from the mold forming a lure with air trapping cavities.

  • Patent number: 7992343
Abstract: A flexible fishing lure comprising: a head integral with an egg sack, a body integral with the egg sack opposite the head, at least two air trapping cavities disposed adjacent each other along a central axis in the body for trapping and retaining air during lure movement, and a tail integral with the body. The tail is tapered to a point and rises when the head is engaged with a hook, and the tail remains at an elevated position above the head when submerged in water.

  • Patent number: 6843016
Abstract: The invention is a flexible fishing lure made of a solid rod, an egg sack connected to the rod forming an angle between 60 and 90, two legs each with a leg head and a tapered leg, wherein the solid rod and the legs have substantially identical conical shapes with substantially identical outer diameters and wherein the egg sack has a conical shape with an outer diameter 0.01 to 0.005 larger than the outer diameter of the solid rod and the legs.

  • Patent number: 6775944
Abstract: The invention is a method of fishing by attaching a hook to a fishing line, attaching the hook to the flexible fishing lure, engaging the hook to a solid rod of the fishing lure, through an egg sack connected to the rod, wherein the egg sack forms an angle between 60 and 90 degrees, wherein the flexible fishing lure has two legs and wherein the rod, first and second legs have substantially identical conical shapes with substantially identical outer diameters, and wherein the egg sack has a cylindrical shape with an outer diameter 0.01 to 0.05 mm larger than the outer diameter of the rod and the two legs, then casting the lure through various types of cover, placing the lure in the strike zone causing reaction strikes from the fish without entangling the cover while maintaining a natural presentation to the bait, and bouncing the lure multi-directionally through the cover and creating vibration in the water without entangling the hook and the lure in the cover.
