Abstract: A light source device for a color enlarger, in which at least six planar light sources are used, two each to serve as a red light source, a green light source, and a blue light source, respectively, are disclosed. In the device, the planar light source serving as a red light source are two cold cathode red light grids arranged perpendicular to an optical axis of the work. The other four grids, two serving as green and two serving as blue light sources, respectively, are arranged in stacked, substantially parallel and horizontal relationship with the red light grids, with one green light grid adjacent the two red light grids, and the remaining blue and green grids alternating thereupon.
