  • Patent number: 4661392
Abstract: A sound dampening panel comprises a corrugated center barrier sandwiched between fibrous sound dampening material which is covered with fabric. The fibrous material fills the spaces between corrugations and forms a layer over the corrugations. In one form of panel the fibrous material is thermally fused under pressure such that it is rigidly formed with a relatively low density in the spaces between the corrugations and with a relatively high density in the layer over the corrugations. The fibrous material is also thermally bonded to the center barrier. In another form of panel, inserts of one density are placed in the spaces between corrugatins and those inserts are covered by a layer of greater density which is glued to ridges of the corrugations.

  • Patent number: 4010517
Abstract: Sheet support apparatus suitable for mounting sheet material is disclosed. The apparatus is especially useful for displaying information contained on paper or cardboard, or in brochures, etc.The apparatus comprises an elongated, rigid frame including three generally planar and integrally connected wall members spaced to define a cavity therebetween for receiving an edge of sheet material. Anchoring means, such as a leaf spring, are provided which can be inserted and removed from the cavity; the leaf spring cooperates with a shoulder on one wall member to anchor the sheet in the cavity.

  • Patent number: 3955298
Abstract: A frame for displaying a poster is disclosed which is formed from a plurality of frame members joined together. The poster can be retained in a mounting groove or slot provided on each frame member. Each frame member also contains first and second guide means defining a slot therebetween into which a joiner, such as an L-shaped angle joiner, can be inserted to join frame members together.

  • Patent number: 3955296
Abstract: A clip is disclosed which is used to support signage having information thereon. The clip is uniquely designed so that it can be inserted into a standard price-tag display channel such as that used on the edge of supermarket shelves, or alternatively be secured to rod-like supports such as wire, railing, posts, etc. or to a side of cartons. The clip is continuously formed from resilient sheet material, such as spring steel, into attaching, connecting, release and gripping members which are all generally planar in shape. A continuous nature is obtained by having these members terminate in reverse bends from which the next member extends. A dimension of the attaching member is appropriate for resilient insertion into a display channel and the attaching member also has one or more tongues which extend towards the connecting member to provide means for mounting the clip on rod-like supports or carton sides.
