  • Patent number: 5832569
Abstract: A lockable buckle for belts, straps and the like, consisting of an exterior housing, or shoe, accommodating a freely movable locking slide which forms, between it and the inside of the shoe, a locking area for nipping a belt or the like passing through the buckle. Locking is brought about by means of a manually operated eccenter mechanism engaging the rear end of the slide. The belt is arranged to enter the front of the buckle from below through an opening in the shoe and to pass over a rigid, profiled rib at the front end of the slide before entering the locking area under the slide. When the buckle is locked and the belt is under load, the tension in the belt will press this end of the slide against the belt, assisting the locking action exercised by the eccenter mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4593614
Abstract: The apparatus for the production of fodder and fat from animal raw materials such as slaughter house waste includes a heating apparatus for heating the raw material, a pressing apparatus for separating the heated material into a solid material phase and a fluid phase, a drier for drying the solid material phase to remove water and an evaporator for evaporating the fluid phase. The evaporator receives waste heat from the drier to carry out the evaporation of the fluid phase.

  • Patent number: 4565709
Abstract: Process for the production of fodder and fat from animal raw materials, such as slaughterhouse waste. The raw material is subjected to heating to a temperature of from about 60.degree. to about 135.degree. and is separated thereafter into a solid material phase and a fluid phase. The solid material phase is subjected to a separate drying step and thereafter steps for the separation of fat and solid material individually. The fluid phase is subjected to separate evaporation the evaporation product being wholly or partially supplied to the solid material phase for separation of fat and solid material individually. Heat energy in the gases emitted from the drying step of the solid material phase is used in an evaporation step for the fluid phase.

  • Patent number: 4233713
Abstract: A lockable buckle for belts, straps and the like, consisting of an exterior housing, or shoe, accommodating a freely movable locking slide which forms, between it and the inside of the housing, a locking area for nipping a belt or the like passing through the buckle. One end of the slide is drawn out into a curved portion hooked onto and partially surrounding an eccentric cam means turnable by an operating arm and arranged to press this end of the slide against the belt during locking. The opposite end of the slide has a transverse slot through which the belt passes for access to the locking area between the slide and the shoe, the tension in the belt pressing this end of the slide against the belt.

  • Patent number: 4054267
Abstract: A device for stepwise pulling in with great force and stowing a belt or strap, comprising a stepwise feeding mechanism which pulls in the strap through a locking means allowing passage of the strap towards the mechanism but locking the movement of the strap in the opposite direction, and a storage or winding-in device for collecting the fed-in strap. The step feeding mechanism comprises two elements, which are pivotable about a common axis, together as well as relatively to each other. The strap passes between the elements which co-act with each other and with the strap so that when they are swung together in one direction they grip and coil the strap while simultaneously pulling in the strap. When the elements are swung back in the opposite direction they move somewhat relatively to each other, thereby releasing the strap.
