Abstract: A method and system for cell tracking between spreadsheets. The method includes: assigning a unique first identifier to each cell containing data within a first spreadsheet; identifying characteristics of each cell containing data within the first spreadsheet and each cell containing data within at least one second spreadsheet, wherein the characteristics include data and metadata associated with each of the cells and wherein the first spreadsheet and the at least one second spreadsheet comprise at least a two-dimensional array of cells; analyzing the cells of the at least one second spreadsheet to compare each cell therein to the cells of the first spreadsheet, wherein the comparison is based on the identified characteristics of each cell, and wherein a comparison above a predetermined threshold is identified as a match; and assigning the unique first identifier of a cell of the first spreadsheet to a matching cell of the at least one second spreadsheet.

Abstract: A method and system for logical comparison of different versions of a spreadsheet are provided. The method includes identifying, in each of a first version and a second version of the spreadsheet, data and metadata associated with their respective headers; comparing between the first version and the second version of the spreadsheet to identify at least one structural difference, wherein the comparison is based on the identified headers data and metadata; comparing between the first version and the second version of the spreadsheet to identify at least one content value difference, wherein the comparison is based, in part, on the at least one identified structural difference; and saving the at least one identified structural difference and the at least one identified content value difference in a differences (Diff) dataset.

Abstract: A method for selecting at least one message from a playlist including a plurality of messages to be played by a message playing device to an exposed audience, each message directed to a target audience. The method comprises choosing a utility function, depending on one or more audience parameters, for each of the messages, periodically measuring the audience parameters pertaining to the exposed audience, calculating utility for each of the messages using the utility function, based on the audience parameters as periodically measured, and selecting a message to play from the playlist based on a cumulative gain attributed to each message from the playlist that has played, wherein the gain is updated with respect to the calculated utility for that message. Other methods and systems are also disclosed and claimed.
