  • Patent number: 4979775
Abstract: A window shade includes a winding shaft and a shade strip. The shaft cooperates with a support such that the shaft is axially displaced when the strip is pulled past a window or wound back onto the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4923211
Abstract: A covering for use in a motor vehicle or the like which is supported on the instrument panel or otherwise in front of a passenger seat. A winding shaft carried on a support receives a blanket which is windable on the shaft and which can be drawn over the passenger on the seat by pulling it off the winding shaft. The blanket passes through the rectangular cross-section of a funnel shaped or tapering guide which folds the edges of the blanket for more compact storage on the winding shaft. A spring or electric motor turns the winding shaft in a direction to normally draw the blanket through the guide and onto the winding shaft.

  • Patent number: 4572688
Abstract: A ball-point pen is disclosed, having a push button which can be displaced to a limited extent in longitudinal direction of the ball-point pen housing so as to extend the cartridge which is urged by spring in the inward direction, and having a detent means for locking the inwardly-pushed position of the push button. In order to obtain a simple structural form as well as a mechanism which operates trouble-free, it is proposed that the push button be developed as a slide plate and have on its wide side a tongue cut therefrom which extends resiliently transversely out of the wide side and bears the detent tooth of the detent means.

  • Patent number: 4532727
Abstract: The frame is provided with several, at least partially straight sides and outwardly projecting locking elements formed on all sides, which are of such a complementary configuration that each side of a frame can be coupled with one side of another frame through the locking elements and several frames can be united in one plane to form a frame panel. The frame bodies can be injection molded from plastic in one piece with the locking elements. In another frame embodiment, each frame has a base plate and a frame overlay which can be fixed on the latter by fastening means, the outwardly projecting locking elements being formed on the outside margin of the base plate. The locking elements have preferably identical profiles and interspacing on all frames, so that frames of different frame sizes can be combined without problems.

  • Patent number: 4453730
Abstract: A bicycle frame bent in approximately the shape of a parabola with the parabola vertex in the region of the steering fork head, the frame being stabilized by the ends of the parabolic frame arms are tensioned with respect to each other in opposition to their elastic movement of restoration by a bridge which extends from the rear wheel fork to the saddle mount.

  • Patent number: 4422315
Abstract: A key holder comprising a plate provided with an elastic ring and a detent pawl is insertable into a flat sleeve. The plate has a notch which receives an end section of the ring. The end section is non-displaceable in its fully inserted position since the notch lies within the opening shaft of the flat sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4258827
Abstract: An improved multi-purpose piece of furniture which is usable as a chair and as a step-ladder. The arrangement has a base frame and a backrest which is pivotally mounted on the base frame and adapted to be folded from a backrest position to a step-ladder position and vice versa for respective use as the top rung of the step-ladder when it is in a horizontal position and as the backrest of a chair when it is in the backrest position. The arrangement includes a pair of connected frame members forming the base frame. A plurality of rungs are operatively mounted on one of the frame members. The top rung of these rungs is adapted to alternately and selectively form a backrest or a step-ladder rung. An imaginary vertical plane passing through bottom rear edge of the backrest, when it is in the step ladder position is disposed in front and spaced from the front edge of the bottom rung which is connected on the one frame member.

  • Patent number: 4137630
Abstract: The pincers comprise two pincer legs pivotally mounted on a pivot pin about a common pivotal axis. Each leg has a handgrip portion and a head portion. The head portions extend toward each other in open arches and have cutting edges which meet in a cutting relationship. The head portions of the pincer legs are formed asymmetrically with respect to each other. A pincer head axis extends along a line connecting the center of the pivot pin with the meeting point of the cutting edges. A longitudinal medial axis extends throughout the length of the pincers between the handgrip portions. The head axis intersects the medial axis at an acute angle.

  • Patent number: 4100630
Abstract: A reclining furniture having rest surfaces formed in at least two parts, having rest surface sections hingedly connected with one another, and arranged adjustable in inclination to achieve a seating position of such type that the gore disposed in the range of the hinge axis is lowered during the raising of one of the rest surface sections. The border frame of the reclining furniture has opposite inner surfaces on which two opposite mountings are arranged which support the raiseable rest surface section such that the pivot axle of the raiseable rest surface section, which is mounted under the latter and spaced by a distance from the gore is mounted on a lever, the latter being arranged in pendulum manner at a second axle, and at least the pendulum movement of the lever is blockable.
