  • Publication number: 20250134829
Abstract: The invention relates to a topical, preferably transdermal preparation and patch, which can deliver its active ingredient content into the skin with near zero-order kinetics, as well as a method for their production. The active ingredient is preferably an NSAID or a capsaicinoid. In particular, the invention relates to a transdermal patch comprising a low dose of capsaicin, which, when placed on the skin, ensures the release of the active ingredient over a long period of time, preferably for 4 to 24 hours, more preferably for 6-12 hours, with near zero-order kinetics. The invention further relates to the production of these preparations. The invention further relates to the use of these preparations to relieve pain, preferably acute pain, and/or chronic inflammatory and neuropathic pain, and as a warm-up patch during sports activities.

  • Publication number: 20130344579
Abstract: The imaging chamber according to the invention comprises a housing with a lower part and an upper part, wherein said lower part is a dish (1) and said upper part is a lid (2) provided with a skirt (9) surrounding the upper rim (10) of the dish (1), the bottom of the dish (1) is provided with a cover slip (12) to be used in confocal microscopy and at least a part of the lid (2) is transparent wherein the lid (2) is provided with a breathing silicon insert (5). The silicon insert (5) comprises a circular ring part fixed to the inner surface of the lid (2) and a skirt (14) parallel with the upper rim (10) of the dish (1) and supported by the skirt (9) of the lid (2) and provided with an annular groove (15) tight fitted on the upper rim (10) of the dish (1); and the lid (2) is provided with openings (4) to allow breathing of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20060270818
Abstract: A new type heat-resistant silicone-polyurethane, which contains polysiloxane chain units of the general formula (II) with diisocyanato end groups and with polyurethane bonds in the chain —OCN—Z—NH—CO—O—X—O—CO—(NH—Z—NH—CO—O—X—O—)m—CO—NH—Z—NCO—??(II) wherein X is the molecular fragment containing the siloxane chain, Z is the molecular fragment containing the alkyl chain, m is an integer between 1 and 20—and/or polysiloxane chain units of the general formula (IV) with diisocyanato end groups and with polyurethane bonds in the chain —OCN—X—NH—CO—O—Z—O—CO—(NH—X—NH—CO—O—Z—O—)m—CO—NH—X—NCO—??(IV) wherein X is the molecular fragment containing the siloxane chain, Z is the molecular fragment containing the alkyl chain, m is an integer between 1 and 20—as crossed-linked polymer units and a process for the synthesis of thereof.
