Patent number: 11409873Abstract: A method of cyber protection of a machine based on acquiring acoustic signals from a vicinity of the machine, while the machine is operative. The method includes analyzing the acquired acoustic signals to determine whether the machine or a controller of the machine is operating suspiciously and initiating a cyber measure on the controller of the machine, responsive to a determination based on the acquired acoustic signals that the machine or the controller is operating suspiciously.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2020Date of Patent: August 9, 2022Assignee: 3D SIGNALS LTD.Inventors: Amnon Shenfeld, Yair Lavi, Amit Ashkenazi, Ofer Affias

Patent number: 10916259Abstract: A method includes acquiring, by a vibro-acoustic sensor in a vicinity of a machine, vibro-acoustic signals due to an operation of the machine. The acquired vibro-acoustic signals are analyzed so as to estimate at least two operational parameters of the machine, selected from a group of the operational parameters consisting of an uptime factor, a production speed factor, and a production quality factor of the machine. An overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) of the machine is computed, the computed OEE including at least one of a minimum and a product of the at least two estimated operational parameters.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2019Date of Patent: February 9, 2021Assignee: 3D SIGNALS LTD.Inventors: Gideon Genadi Kogan, Amnon Hanoch Shenfeld, Ofer Affias, Amit Ashkenazi

Publication number: 20200142499Abstract: Systems, methods and non-transitory computer-readable media for triggering actions based on touch-free gesture detection are disclosed. The disclosed systems may include at least one processor. A processor may be configured to receive image information from an image sensor, detect in the image information a gesture performed by a user, detect a location of the gesture in the image information, access information associated with at least one control boundary, the control boundary relating to a physical dimension of a device in a field of view of the user, or a physical dimension of a body of the user as perceived by the image sensor, and cause an action associated with the detected gesture, the detected gesture location, and a relationship between the detected gesture location and the control boundary.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2019Publication date: May 7, 2020Inventors: Itay Katz, Ofer Affias

Patent number: 10345800Abstract: Monitoring of a machine is performed by an acoustic monitor which acquires, through an acoustic sensor, acoustic signals from a vicinity of a machine, while the machine is operative. A processor calculates a frequency spectrum of a segment of the acquired acoustic signals, determines boundaries of a frequency band to be analyzed and extracts, from the calculated frequency spectrum, a base frequency window in the determined boundaries, and one or more harmonics windows of harmonics of the determined boundaries. For each of the base and harmonic windows a weight based on a distribution of values of frequencies in the windows is determined and a parameter of operation of the machine is calculated as a function of a weighted sum of the base and harmonic windows. The operation of the machine is evaluated responsive to the calculated parameter.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2016Date of Patent: July 9, 2019Assignee: 3D SIGNALS LTD.Inventors: Yair Lavi, Amit Ashkenazi, Ofer Affias, Amnon Shenfeld
