  • Patent number: 12135742
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to searching an image database. A system may include at least one processor comprising circuitry and a memory, wherein the memory includes instructions that, when executed by the circuitry cause the at least one processor to: receive a first user input including one or more scenario descriptors, identify in a database an initial plurality of images based on the first user input and display the initial plurality of images to a user. The processor may be further configured to receive a second user input wherein the second user input identifies at least one of the initial plurality of images. The at least one processor may identify a refined plurality of images in the database based on the one or more scenario descriptors in combination with the second user input and display the refined plurality of images to the user.

  • Publication number: 20220417678
Abstract: A processing device is interfaced with an auditory region of the brain of a subject that is responsible for auditory perception. The processing device receives signals associated with nerve impulses that are transmitted to the auditory region of the brain of the subject in response to sound collected by an ear of the subject. The processing device processes the received signals and generates at least one audio signal that is representative of the auditory perception, by the subject, of the sound collected by the ear. In certain embodiments, the processing device processes at least one audio signal that is representative of at least one sound to convert the at least one audio signal to a sequence of nerve impulses, and selectively provides the sequence of nerve impulses to the auditory region of the brain of the subject such that the subject audially perceives the at least one sound.

  • Publication number: 20220386937
Abstract: A processing device receives signals associated with nerve impulses that are transmitted to the visual cortex of a subject in response to one or more visual stimuli provided to at least one eye of the subject. The processing device processes the received signals and generates digital image data from the processed received signals that is representative of the visual perception, by the subject, of the one or more visual stimuli. In certain embodiments, the processing device processes digital image data that is representative of a scene to convert the digital image data to a sequence of nerve impulses, and provides the sequence of nerve impulses to the visual cortex of a subject such that the subject visually perceives the scene.

  • Patent number: 8281921
Abstract: A plural chambered container for storing separately a plurality of substances for mixing prior to opening the container. The container comprises a closed outer container having a side wall, bottom and top. It further comprises an inner chamber with a designated opening area, wherein the inner chamber is operatively attached to the bottom of the outer container. In addition the outer container is filled with a first substance and the inner chamber is filled with a second substance. The outer container is filled with a one substance and the inner chamber is filled with another substance. Upon pressing the side walls of said outer container, the designated opening area is opened thereby causing the substance in the inner chamber to mix with the substance in the outer container.
