Abstract: Disclosed is an optical device module having a heat transfer medium via a phase transformation for overcoming the non-uniform temperature distribution. The optical device module includes an optical device that requires temperature control; a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the optical device; a heat source for generating heat; and, a heat transfer medium, disposed between the heat source and the optical device, with a number of heat pipes inside thereof.

Abstract: An optical device module using an integral heat transfer module. The heat transfer module has an integrally formed heat source and a temperature sensor for reading temperature. A heat transfer path is simplified in packaging the optical device module, so that the optical device can avoid performance degradation due to nonuniform temperature distribution. The amount power consumption can be reduced and excellent workability can be ensured.

Abstract: Disclosed is a device for aligning an optical source and an optical fiber in an optical source module. The optical source module has a substrate, an optical source mounted on the substrate, an optical fiber for receiving lights emitted by the optical source, an optical fiber ferrule for supporting the optical fiber, and a saddle mounted on the substrate for holding the optical fiber ferrule.

Abstract: An apparatus for aligning an optical source with an optical fiber. In the aligning apparatus, an optical source is installed on the substrate, an optical fiber is aligned with the optical source, for receiving light from the optical source, a holder holds the optical fiber to enable the optical fiber to receive a maximum of the light emitted from the optical source, and a fixture fixes the holder. The fixture includes a base fixed on the substrate and divided into two portions spaced from each other by a distance enough to insert the holder inbetween, a support having both ends integrally connected to the base, for supporting the holder inserted therein, a pair of protrusions extended from predetermined positions of both sides of the support along the length direction of the optical fiber, and a pair of connection portions disposed at both ends of each of the protrusions, for connecting to the holder.
