  • Publication number: 20070247359
Abstract: Portable Battery operated asset mount GPS tracking apparatus, having a processor, GPS receiver and a satellite or cellular modem. Incorporated with a low power consumption RF transceiver, the transceiver is designed to communicate at time interval with a home base station RF transceiver unit, located within the communication range of the GPS tracking unit. When the GPS unit is present within communication range of home base unit, the GPS unit's receiver, satellite or cellular modem power circuitry is in “Off” position. If and when a subject or asset carrying GPS unit, moves out of communication range from home base unit, the GPS unit transceiver circuitry within a predetermined time detects RF communication signal loss, and “Power's On” GPS tracking unit receiver and satellite or cellular modem circuitry. The method provides user automatic asset movement tracking, and conserves GPS unit battery consumption, and provides longer period of portable GPS unit operation.

  • Patent number: 7215241
Abstract: A communication interfering object presence detection sensor, for use with an antenna system, which initiates an alarm signal whenever a communication interfering object presence is detected by said antenna sensor for a predetermined time within proximity of said antenna. The object presence detection sensor generates an optical, RF, ultrasonic or magnetic field signal(s) around an antenna towards a preset distance from the antenna, generating antenna operation protective shield signal(s) around said antenna. Communication interfering object presence detection sensor of the present invention is responsive to the detection of object(s) presence within the pattern of said sensor-generated signals. The object detection sensor antenna of the present invention additionally transmits said alarm signals to a monitoring station containing information to both said antenna tamper condition and to said antenna location.

  • Publication number: 20060193749
Abstract: A RF breathalyzer system, which transmits a unique RF signal in response to a toxic or non-toxic breath sample given to a RF breathalyzer by the user. An immobilizer CPU is installed in a vehicle to receive commands from the RF breathalyzer and to control a horn and lights of a vehicle, to immobilize the engine, and is connected to a GPS antenna driver through a mobile phone/pager unit to communicate with a monitoring station.

  • Patent number: 7100052
Abstract: A system for detecting presence, identifying, and detecting directional movement of an object or personnel is directional movement installed at points of access for vehicle, object, or personnel tracking. The system has at least a pair of IR heat and/or motion-sensing detectors installed on a scanner panel with a space approximately 2 feet apart from each other for transmitting and receiving optical beams across the point of access. An RFID reader with an antenna is incorporated within the scanner panel. When an object passes through the point of access, the panel scanner is capable of detecting which direction the object traveled. The scanner panel also has the ability to distinguish whether the object is a human or an object. This functionality is dependent on the triggering of heat and or motion sensors/detectors, which can authenticate the objects and/or personnel carrying an RFID tag and information of the RFID tag to a computer interface.

  • Publication number: 20030016143
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system that alerts to the operator of a vehicle, when a particular vehicle operator is not in the course of slowing down to stop a vehicle traveling towards an intersection, in particularly when said vehicle moving direction intersection traffic light condition turns ember and or red. Or where an intersection requires all or particular direction travel vehicles to make a full stop before said vehicles cross said intersection, to avoid intersection vehicle collision. The system comprises of traffic light or stop sign RF transceivers units, and plurality of vehicles equipped with vehicle transceivers units to communicate with said intersection traffic signal transceiver units.
