Abstract: An automated rendering system for creating a screenplay or a transcript is provided that includes an audio/visual (A/V) content compositor and renderer for composing audio/visual (A/V) content made up of at clips and animations, and at least one of: back ground music, still images, or commentary phrases. A transcript builder is provided to build a transcript. The transcript builder utilizes data in various forms including user situational inputs, predefined rules and scripts, game action text, logical determinations and intelligent assumptions to generate a transcript to produce the A/V content of the screenplay or the transcript. A method is also provided for rendering an event that include receiving data with a request from a user to generate an audio/visual (A/V) presentation based on the event using the system. Ancillary data input is provided as a set of rules that influence or customize the outcome of the screenplay.
