  • Patent number: 8211694
Abstract: Climate control unit with an interior section containing a storage space and with a closable access opening to the storage section whereby at least one part of the interior section is separated and sealed against the rest of the interior section thus forming a separate germ-proof section. The division takes place at least in part by a membrane that is permeable for water vapor and gas but impermeable for microorganisms.

  • Patent number: 8186777
Abstract: The present invention relates to a safety workbench having a working chamber enclosed by a housing and a housing front side, which has a work opening, which is closable by an adjustable front pane, the front pane having at least one additional cleaning position, in which it is situated at least partially below a closed final position, in which the work opening is completely covered, in such a way that a cleaning opening is formed between pane top edge and housing. The front pane is easier and safer to clean than the previously known safety workbenches due to this additionally provided cleaning position.

  • Patent number: 7770617
Abstract: The present invention relates to a safety workbench having a working inner chamber enclosed by a housing, whose bottom terminus is formed by a floor trough and which is accessible on a housing front side via a work opening closable using an adjustable front pane. The floor trough is implemented as double-walled and has an internal and an external wall, which enclose an intermediate chamber, which may be placed under vacuum, between them, at least one of the walls having at least one opening which is connected to means for generating the partial vacuum.

  • Patent number: 7556779
Abstract: The invention is relative to a climatic cabinet with a door, a utilization space, a specimen storage device, an inner transport device and a transfer opening. A buffer specimen storage device and an outer transport device are arranged on the outside in front of the transfer opening. The outer transport device establishes a transport connection between the buffer specimen storage device and the transfer opening by which a specimen can be brought between the buffer specimen storage device and the inner transport device. The invention has the advantage that the dwell time of the blade in an area with outside temperature is restricted to a minimum, as a result of which an ice-free transfer of specimen slides can be carried out even given a high transfer frequency and great differences of temperature and of atmospheric moisture.

  • Patent number: 7100396
Abstract: The invention concerns a climatic cabinet, in particular, a climatic cooling cabinet, whose interior is loaded or unloaded with specimen slides, with the aid of a transporting device. The loading and unloading take place through a loading opening which can be closed with a door, which opening is adapted, in its size, to the dimensions of the specimen slides and is located in a sidewall of the climatic cabinet. The climatic cabinet also has a gas supply device, whose at least one gas exhaust opening is situated in such a way that the cross-section of the loading opening is covered by a gas curtain, in the area of the gas exhaust openings when gas is supplied.
