  • Publication number: 20070029309
Abstract: The invention relates to a pressure-sensitive supporting material, which can be (intrinsically) heated by an inner heat source, and to the use thereof. The heatable supporting material is characterized in that the supporting material comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer inside of which heat is generated. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is a pressure-sensitive adhesive compound, which can be heated by electric current, induction, a chemical reaction or by a physical phase transition. The heatable supporting material has a high heating capacity and is suited for producing pressure-sensitive tapes for adhering heatable mirrors.

  • Publication number: 20050074571
Abstract: The use of a double sided adhesive tape for sealing and opening cartons or cartonlike packages, at least one of the two films of adhesive of the double sided adhesive tape being present applied in the lengthwise direction of the carrier material in the form of a strip which is present at least partially and which is narrower than the carrier material of the adhesive tape, the bonding of the adhesive tape between the two plies or flaps of the carton or of the cartonlike packages taking place in such a way that the part of the carrier material not covered by the film of adhesive is likewise situated between the two plies or flaps.

  • Publication number: 20010019743
Abstract: A process for producing antiadhesive layers on a web-form material, characterized in that the antiadhesive layers are applied to the web-form material by means of low pressure plasma polymerization by guiding the web-form material continuously through a plasma zone containing a low pressure plasma.
