  • Publication number: 20080113846
Abstract: A combination drive unit including an internal combustion engine and an electric machine, where the internal combustion engine includes a housing with a crankshaft supported therein; where the electric machine includes a rotor with a rotor shaft, the rotor being supported rotatably on a stationary component, and a stator, which is mounted radially with respect to the rotor. The crankshaft is in working connection with the rotor shaft at least indirectly and at least temporarily by way of a coupling. For the event that the crankshaft and the rotor shaft are offset from each other, the unit has separate first and second compensating devices, so that the wobbling forces which occur during operation of the unit can be absorbed.

  • Patent number: 6814197
Abstract: An actuating device for a friction clutch device installed in the drive train of a motor vehicle introduces actuating forces, especially clutch-engaging or clutch-releasing forces, to the friction clutch device to actuate at least one friction clutch of the friction clutch device in the engaging or releasing direction. At least one actuating element assigned to a friction clutch can be shifted axially relative to at least one support element, which is essentially fixed in the axial direction, to exert the actuating forces. The actuating element belongs to an actuator assigned to the clutch or can be shifted axially relative to the support element by the intermediate action of an actuator assigned to the clutch.

  • Publication number: 20040084275
Abstract: A friction clutch includes a housing having an axis of rotation; a pressure plate connected to the housing for rotation in common; a force exerting arrangement supported against the housing and the pressure plate; an actuator mechanism which acts on the force exerting arrangement to load the pressure plate axially with respect to the housing; and a bearing arrangement for supporting the actuator mechanism axially with respect to the housing so that it is prevented from moving in either axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20030085093
Abstract: A mounting/centering support arrangement for a pressure plate assembly of a multi-clutch arrangement is provided. The pressure plate assembly comprises at least two clutch areas, each with a pressure plate arrangement connected to a housing arrangement for rotation in common around an axis of rotation; with an opposing support arrangement; and with a clutch disk arrangement, the friction surface arrangement of which can be clamped between the pressure plate arrangement and the opposing support arrangement. Each of the clutch disk arrangements is designed to be connected nonrotatably to a different power takeoff element. The mounting/centering support arrangement can arrest at least one of the clutch disk arrangements in a predefinable position with respect to the housing arrangement and/or arrest at least one of the clutch disk arrangements in a predefinable position with respect to at least one other clutch disk arrangement.

  • Patent number: 6454314
Abstract: An elastomeric seal seals a pipe which is held in a push-in part of a plug-in coupling relative to a cylindrical interior surface of a housing of the plug-in coupling, into which the push-in part is pushed together with the pipe. The seal is in prestressed contact with the interior surface of the housing via an outward-facing annular lip and with the pipe via a radially inward-facing annular lip. The elastomeric seal is connectable by positive fitting to the push-in part, this positive fit being lockable by the assembly of the pipe to form a non-releasable connection, the pipe having a cylindrical and uninterrupted exterior circumference in the region of the seal. The joint between the seal and the push-in part is simple to assemble and is lockable by the insertion of the pipe. The connection of the seal to the push-in part may be additionally secured, with certain changes of diameter, by compression of the web-shaped connection between them.

  • Patent number: 6250201
Abstract: A throttle device for use with a hydraulic adjustment devices that have an input cylinder and an output cylinder and a hydraulic line filled with fluid connecting the output cylinder and the input cylinder, is arranged in the hydraulic line for establishing various throttle resistances to the flow of the fluid in both flow directions through the hydraulic line. The throttle device includes a disk with at least one boring and/or at least one passage channel. The disk moves back and forth, as the fluid flows, in both flow directions, and thereby strikes against a first stop in one direction and against a second stop in the other direction. The throttle device in the form of a disk in the movement space which is a transition from the hydraulic line to the supply line of the cylinder in its diameter, with a stop disk secured in the hydraulic line forming the second stop is economically advantageous. The disk that acts as the valve is distinguished by its low cost.

  • Patent number: 6029979
Abstract: A sealing arrangement for providing a seal between a component and a cylinder in which the component is inserted includes a sealing ring supported in the axial direction in a circumferential slot on the component. The sealing ring has at least one static and one dynamic sealing lip. The sealing lips rest radially on corresponding sealing surfaces of the component and the cylinder. To reduce the noise generated during movement of the component in the cylinder, the geometrical shape of at least of one of the sealing lips is asymmetrical in the axial and/or radial direction with respect to a longitudinal axis of the component or a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the component, or cavities are distributed around a circumference of a base body portion of the sealing ring.

  • Patent number: 4773597
Abstract: A nozzle for spraying liquids is provided, especially high viscosity liquid media used in the food and chemical industries. The nozzle finds particular use in fluidized bed spray granulators. A fine spray of high viscosity liquid media is attained. A nozzle head is arranged inside a nozzle housing. The nozzle head has a cylindrical portion terminating in a truncated, cone-shaped portion. A plurality of first flow ducts are arranged like the threads on a screw along the surface of the cylindrical portion for guiding a pressure medium such as air. A plurality of second ducts are arranged between the cylindrical portion and truncated, cone-shaped portion of the nozzle head and supply high viscosity liquid medium to the pressure medium exiting the downstream ends of the plurality of first ducts.
