  • Publication number: 20240017443
Abstract: A device can be used for the degassing of a two-component multiphase polymer-monomer material. A corresponding degassing extruder contains the degassing device. The device for degassing contains at least one nozzle part having a convergent geometry, at least one constant part, and at least one diffusor part having a divergent geometry. The diffusor part contains at least three zones each having a divergent geometry, and the opening angles of the zones are specifically adapted in order to improve the separation of components of the polymer material. A process for degassing a polymer material uses the degassing device.

  • Patent number: 8148480
Abstract: The invention relates to a stirred-tank reactor and to a method for carrying out a polymerization reaction of unsaturated monomers using a stirred-tank reactor. According to the invention, said stirred-tank reactor is characterized in that the product discharge point is designed as the central base outlet that is at least partially traversed by the agitator shaft. Said polymerization is performed continuously under positive pressure, so that the stirred-tank reactor is operated hydrodynamically.

Abstract: The invention relates to a stirred-tank reactor and to a method for carrying out a polymerisation reaction of unsaturated monomers using a stirred-tank reactor. According to the invention, said stirred-tank reactor is characterised in that the product discharge point is designed as the central base outlet that is at least partially traversed by the agitator shaft. Said polymerisation is performed continuously under positive pressure, so that the stirred-tank reactor is operated hydrodynamically.

  • Publication number: 20110017439
Abstract: The invention relates to a tube bundle heat exchanger for transferring heat for the temperature sensitive and/or polymerisible substances. Said heat exchanger comprises a housing (4) having one or more product outlets (8) and one or more product inlets (1) and a tube bundle is arranged in said housing. Displacer rods (7, 10, 12, 15) are arranged in the tubes of the tube bundle and at least one heat exchanger cap of the tube bundle heat exchanger is filled with displacer bodies (3) for reducing the volume filled with the product.
