  • Patent number: 7287634
Abstract: The invention relates to a torque transmission device, especially for a drive train comprising an internal combustion engine and a twin-clutch transmission having two transmission input shafts and one transmission output shaft, each transmission input shaft being connectable to an internal combustion engine via a clutch of the torque transmission device.

  • Patent number: 7080569
Abstract: A powershift transmission is proposed using two transmission paths, a friction clutch being assigned to each transmission path and the transmission paths being coupleable to an output shaft for torque transmission. The transmission has a device that detects the clutch torque transmitted by the friction clutch of the active transmission path, which is coupled to the output shaft, and, when the clutch torque falls below threshold value, initiates a disengagement of the active gear ratio.

  • Patent number: 7037239
Abstract: A method for automatically adjusting slip in an automatic friction clutch arranged between an engine and a gearbox of a motor vehicle. The clutch has a clutch-adjusting positioning drive which adjusts the clutch to a position which is defined by a position set-point signal. The clutch input speed and the clutch output speed are detected using speed sensors and a position set-point signal is produced according to the difference of the speeds (slip speed). The slip speed is equal to a predefined set slip value and is used as a control variable for the transmitted clutch torque. An engine torque is used as a control variable for the clutch instead of the clutch torque or as a complement thereto.

  • Publication number: 20060009900
Abstract: In a method for setting the clutch torque of a clutch, especially a clutch disposed in a drive train of a motor vehicle, the clutch is adjusted using a clutch actuator. This clutch actuator has at least two actuator parts that may be positioned relative to each other at raster values of a position raster. A position setpoint corresponding to a clutch torque and disposed between the raster values of the position raster is calculated, and the actuator parts are positioned relative to each other at a raster value of the position raster that is adjacent to the position setpoint. In addition to the first position raster value, a second position raster value is calculated in such a manner that the position setpoint is disposed between the first position raster value and the second position raster value.

  • Patent number: 4455131
Abstract: A control device for regulating the capacity and the built-in volume ratio of a helical screw rotor machine comprises at least one additional valve member which is axially aligned with first and second valve members in the screw rotor machine, the additional valve member being movable between the positions in which said additional valve member contacts one or both of said first and second valve members to form an extension of either or both of the first and second valve members. The additional, first and the second valve members are connected to the operating device to permit displacement thereof. This permits varying the length of the second valve member (the slide valve) in one or more steps, which in turn means that it is possible to displace the gap between the first and second valve members without moving the high pressure end of the second valve member (the slide valve).
