  • Patent number: 8020997
Abstract: A system for defining a bounding box include one or more image projectors; one or more optical beam generators; a display surface; a computing element; and a digital image sensor. The digital image sensor is configured to sense a location of image orientation indicators generated by the optical beam generators. The computing element is configured to communicate with the digital image sensor to determine a bounding box defined by the locations of the image orientation indicators and to control the one or more image projectors to project an image in, and corresponding to, the bounding box on the display surface.

  • Patent number: 7014112
Abstract: A method of conveying information from an electronic identification label to an interrogator includes coupling energy from an external field into a resonant circuit of the electronic identification label. The method also includes the electronic identification label periodically storing and discharging an amount of the coupled energy wherein the period that the electronic identification label stores and discharges the energy conveys information about the electronic identification label to the interrogator.

  • Patent number: 6953252
Abstract: A projector having a plurality of retro-reflectors. In one embodiment of the present invention, a projector includes a light source, an image forming device, a concave reflector, and a plurality of retro-reflectors. The concave reflector is positioned adjacent to the light source to reflect light emitted by the light source toward the image forming device. The plurality of retro-reflectors is configured to reflect light emitted from the light source toward the concave reflector and is positioned as sets at different respective distances from the light source.

  • Publication number: 20050057442
Abstract: An adjacent display of sequential sub-images is described such that each sub-image appears simultaneously to the human eye. In one embodiment of the present invention, a display device includes an image forming device and a mirror assembly. The image forming device is configured to provide sequential sub-images that compose at least a portion of an image. The mirror assembly is configured to provide an adjacent display of the sequential sub-images, one to another, such that each sub-image in the portion of the image appears simultaneously to the human eye.
