The mounting module including a mechanical interface for fastening an extension functional component, such as a handle part or handle mount of a door handle unit, a motor vehicle lock and/or a sensor device. The mounting module including a contact unit for electrically contacting the extension functional component, and, within the scope of the mounting of the extension functional component to the mounting module by means of a mounting movement introduced into the extension functional component, the extension functional component is fastened to the mounting module via the mechanical interface and the extension functional component is electrically contacted via the contact unit.

Abstract: A Bowden cable end piece that facilitates the connection of a Bowden cable to an operating mechanism is disclosed. The end piece includes an elongated frame having a receptacle configured to receive a sheath of a Bowden cable and guide a core of a Bowden cable. The frame has a barrel guide configured to receive a barrel formed on an end of the core. An attachment member on a first end of the frame provides a holding connection with the operating mechanism in an insertion position and an end position. A mounting spring on a second end of the frame has an abutment region configured to abut a mounting surface on a support structure when the Bowden cable end piece is installed in the end position. The Bowden cable end piece can be, in the installed state, pressably attached by the mounting spring in the end position.

The core is connected to the adjusting element at a first end. The Bowden cable sleeve can be received at least at a first end in an end piece. Furthermore, a one-piece seal is provided, which encloses the first end of the Bowden cable sleeve in a first region and extends in a second region via a region of the core emerging from the Bowden cable sleeve and sealing on the core is applied. The seal is designed to be pressed into the Bowden cable grommet in an end-piece-received condition in the first region from an end piece.
