  • Patent number: 4746496
Abstract: A case for sterilization and sterile storage of objects comprises a hermetic housing (1), a partition (7) with one or several holes (10) dividing the interior of the housing (1) into two sections (8, 9), one of the sections being occupied by a sterilizing liquid, whereas the other accommodating holders (20) for the objects being sterilized. The section (8) for the sterilizing liquid occupies the lower part of the housing. The holes (10) of the partition (7) are grouped in its central portion and each of these holes (10) is provided with a tube (11) facing by its free end the inside of the section (8). The section (8) has on its wall opposite to the partition (7) a spherical projection (12) facing by its convex side the interior of the section (8).

  • Patent number: 4711239
Abstract: An electrosurgical instrument of the invention comprises a body (3) and, arranged coaxially, a passive electrode (2) and an active electrode (1), of which the outer electrode is associated with the body (3) and the central electrode is traversable with respect to the outer electrode (2). The instrument is provided with a power actuator and a device for cleaning the central electrode (1) of carbon deposit, the device being interposed between the electrodes (1, 2) and being made as an insert of an insulating material and provided with a through hole to suit the diametrical size of the central electrode (1) which extends through the hole. The electrode (1) is rigidly coupled to the power actuator for being traversable with respect to the hole.

  • Patent number: 4671274
Abstract: A bipolar electrosurgical instrument, comprising movable arms (1 and 3) electrically insulated from each other and provided with current-carrying working jaws. According to the invention, the working jaws are shaped as prongs (6 and 7) curved in the same direction, the prongs (7) of the working jaw of the arm (3) being shaped as a fork, which enables one to manipulate in a bloodless operative field of the various parenchymatous organs due to quick and reliable fusion of nonopened (intact) large-calibre blood vessels over a preset segment length thereof.

  • Patent number: 4657017
Abstract: An electrosurgical instrument comprises a cutting working portion (1) which incorporates two ring-shaped electrodes (3, 4) separated with a disk (2) from an insulating material, a power actuator to impart rotation to the working portion (1), and current leads, each adapted to interact with the respective ring electrode (3 or 4). The cutting working portion (1) is additionally provided with a knife (14) whose cutting edge (15) is shaped as a circular arc whose size is not in excess of 90 arc degrees of the outer circumference of the working portion (1). The cutting edge (15) may stand over the outer circumference of the disk (2), or be an integral part thereof.

  • Patent number: 4637390
Abstract: An electrosurgical instrument comprises a cutting portion which incorporates two active electrodes made as similar disk cutters (2, 3) arranged coaxially and at a clearance with respect to each other, a power actuator to impart rotation to the cutters (2, 3), and current leads to supply a diathermic current to the electrodes. The cutting edges of the disk cutters (2, 3) are essentially regularly alternating toothed portions (4, 5) and toothless portions, the toothed portions (4) of the cutter (2) being arranged staggerwise with respect to the toothless portions of the cutter (3).
