Patent number: 10032521Abstract: A method and system are used to generate random values for Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) for use in cryptographic applications. A PUF value generation apparatus comprises two dielectric breakdown based anti-fuses and at least one current limiting circuit connected between anti-fuses and power rails. Two anti-fuses are connected in parallel for value generation in programming by applying high voltage to both anti-fuses at the same time. Time for dielectric breakdown under high voltage stress is of random nature and therefore unique for each anti-fuse cell. Therefore the random time to breakdown causes one cell to break before another, causing high breakdown current through the broken cell. Once high breakdown current through one broken or programmed cell is established, a voltage drop across a current limiting circuit leads to decreased voltage across both cells, thereby slowing the time dependent breakdown process in the second cell and preventing it from breakage under programming conditions.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2016Date of Patent: July 24, 2018Assignee: Synopsys, Inc.Inventors: Grigori Grigoriev, Roman Gavrilov, Oleg Ivanov

Publication number: 20160132948Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for generating quotes are provided herein. Questions associated with service request parameters of a type of service can be presented. Input indicative of values for the service request parameters can be received. The values for the service request parameters can be associated with a service request. Service listings can be provided upon memory. Each of the service listings can be associated with a service provider, service provider rules for the service provider, and price parameters. The values for the service request parameters can be compared with the service provider rules. The service request can be matched to matching listings of the service listings based upon the service request parameters and the service provider rules that are compared. Quotes for the matching listings of the service listings can be generated. The quotes can be calculated using the price parameters associated with the matching listings of the service listings.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2015Publication date: May 12, 2016Inventors: Dmitri Saveliev, Oleg Ivanov

Patent number: 7424706Abstract: Systems and methods are described that enable patching of security vulnerabilities in binary files. The detection and patching of vulnerable binary files is automatic, reliable, regression free, and comprehensive across networks on an unlimited scale. These advantages can be realized in various ways including, for example, by leveraging current anti-virus infrastructure that is widely deployed across the Internet. Reliable discovery of vulnerable binary files (e.g., in operating systems, application programs, etc.) is achieved through the use of binary signatures that have been associated with discovered security vulnerabilities. A divergence of security patches away from conventional service packs provides for the possibility of production of regression-free fixes for security vulnerabilities in binary files.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2003Date of Patent: September 9, 2008Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Oleg Ivanov, Sergei Ivanov

Patent number: 7202478Abstract: A scintillation spectrometer provides improved resolution by ensuring that photons generated by scintillation events occurring in different locations within the scintillation material generate similar light profiles on the photo-detector, thereby making the output signal less sensitive to the initial interaction site and enabling more effective de-convolution of raw data. This is achieved in different ways, such as by: limiting the exit window of the scintillation crystal, introducing a spacer between the scintillation crystal and the detector window, or providing a crystal that is longer than necessary to stop gamma rays.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 2005Date of Patent: April 10, 2007Assignee: Symetrica LimitedInventors: David Ramsden, Ling-Jian Meng, Oleg Ivanov, Sergei Ignatov

Publication number: 20060110546Abstract: The invention relates to carbon deposition by decomposing gaseous compounds with the aid of the SHF discharge plasma and can be used, for example, for producing polycrystalline diamond films (plates), which are used for producing output windows of power SHF sources, for example gyrotrons. Said invention ensures a high speed deposition of the high quality diamond films (having a loss-tangent angle ? equal to or less than 3×10?5 on supports whose diameter is equal to or higher than 100 mm. For this purpose, a SHF discharge is initiated in a gas mixture which is arranged in a reaction chamber and contains at least hydrogen and hydrocarbon. Afterwards, said gas mixture is activated by producing a stable nonequilibrium plasma with the aid of SHF radiation having a frequency f which is many times higher than a commonly used frequency of 2.45 GHz, for example 30 GHz.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 18, 2003Publication date: May 25, 2006Inventors: Anatoly Vikharev, Aleksey Gorbachev, Aleksandr Litvak, Juriy Bykov, Grigory Denisov, Oleg Ivanov, Vladimir Koldanov

Patent number: 6940071Abstract: Different geometries of scintillation spectrometers are disclosed which provide improved resolution over prior art scintillation spectrometers. By ensuring that photons generated by scintillation events occurring in different locations within the scintillation material generate similar light profiles on the photo-detector, the output signal is made less sensitive to the initial interaction site. This can be achieved in a number of ways, such as: by limiting the exit window of the scintillation crystal to a smaller detector, by introducing an optical spacer (94) between the scintillation crystal and detector (99), and/or by making the crystal longer than necessary to stop the gamma rays. A principal advantage of these new geometries is that deconvolution of the raw-data is more effective, thus improving resolution.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2001Date of Patent: September 6, 2005Assignee: University of SouthamptonInventors: David Ramsden, Ling-Jian Meng, Oleg Ivanov, Sergei Ignatov
