  • Patent number: 9804219
Abstract: A testing container includes a right-parallelepiped-like container, electrical components of a transformer test system which are arranged in the container and which represent a respective heat source during a testing operation, and a cooling system including at least one heat exchanger. In addition, the testing container includes a movement apparatus configured to move the at least one heat exchanger from a transport position within the container into a working position which is located at least partially outside the container. Thus, the at least one heat exchanger is movable by means of the movement apparatus from the transport position within the container into the working position which is located at least partially outside the container.

  • Patent number: 9580270
Abstract: A winding fixing device and method for a hollow-cylindrical high-voltage winding are disclosed, wherein the winding fixing device includes a pillar-like element having two axial ends, each of the two axial ends being configured to be connected to a respective retaining element which is arranged transversely with respect thereto. Each of the retaining elements is configured to be movable along the pillar-like element and detachable therefrom. A positioning region for arranging a hollow-cylindrical high-voltage winding is formed between the retaining elements, and spacing elements are configured to move axially along the pillar-like element. The spacing elements are configured to radially fix the hollow-cylindrical high-voltage winding when placed between the retaining elements by applying a tensile force to the retaining elements.

  • Patent number: 9383315
Abstract: Sensor structure (16) is provided for online monitoring of levels of Furans in oil of a transformer tank. The sensor structure includes a UV light source (26), a filter (30) permitting only UV light of a certain wavelength range to pass, a window (32) permitting the filtered UV light to passes there-through and a UV light detector (36) to receive UV light that passes through the window. When the sensor structure is mounted to the transformer tank that is online so that the window is exposed to oil, and Furans in the oil are being monitored, the Furans will absorb UV light, creating a difference in UV light received by the light detector when compared to the UV light received by the light detector when the monitored oil has no Furans therein. The output signal of the light detector is substantially proportional to a total of Furans in the monitored oil.

  • Patent number: 8704634
Abstract: A system is provided for creating and/or collecting, storing and providing access to data from an electric power device which contains a cooling or operating liquid. A sensing device is mounted on the electric power device. The sensing device includes a microprocessor/microcontroller, a memory, a display panel, an input panel, and a tag read/write apparatus. A sampling container for holding a liquid sample to be taken from the electric power device has a container tag mounted thereon. The tag read/write apparatus uses a wireless communication link, when a sample has been taken, to transmit (i) administrative data denoting the electric power device, and (ii) diagnosis data denoting the sample taken to the container tag. The diagnosis data can be input directly using the input panel of the sensing device when a sample has been taken.
