    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the production of heterologous protein in a filamentous fungus and promoters suitable therefor. The present invention further relates to vectors and host cells as well as a kit and its use. The object of the present invention is to provide a method for the production of heterologous protein in a filamentous fungus which allows efficient production of heterologous protein and wherein any contamination of the product protein by vegetative spores is avoided.
