In one embodiment the tag comprises two members or halves hingedly connected to each other in clamshell fashion so that the two members can be folded together held together via hook and loop type fasteners. The glove may be secured to the holder a via hook and loop type fastening surface located on the glove. The holder can also secure an article not having a hook or loop type fastening surface by draping the article over the hinge.
