Abstract: A closure seal that provides an environmental seal about an electrical cable which includes an upper sealing block adapted to be clamped to a lower sealing block so that the cable is encompassed by the two sealing blocks, each block composed of a resilient deformable material and includes a pair of spaced apart arms disposed within the blocks. Each arm lying on a line that is substantially radial to the cable and being pivoted at the end remote from the cable. The seal is useful for sealing an electrical adaptor of the type which incorporates a socket that accepts a plug rated to a first maximum current load, a circuit breaker set for the first maximum current load, a residual circuit device and wherein the socket is enclosed in a compartment adapted to receive the plug and the compartment is provided with a releasable cover.

Abstract: A pet litter device which includes a tray to contain pet litter, a pivoting lifting handle connected to the tray to assist in emptying used pet litter, a ramp connectable to the tray to allow ingress and egress to the tray, a skirt adapted to be attached to the perimeter of the tray and having an opening corresponding to the position of the ramp plus an optional sifting scoop for removing pet litter detachably mounted on the underside of the ramp. The upper surface of the ramp is covered in a fabric that cleans the paws of the pet. The pivoting handle, spans the width of the tray and is foldable to encompass one end of the tray, and a single fixed handle is provided at the other end of the tray and the ramp clamps onto the fixed handle. The skirt ramp and scoop are injection molded together and are detachably connected together prior to assembly with the tray. The injection molded skirt ramp and scoop nest with the tray prior to assembly for ease of storage and display in retail outlets.

Abstract: A pouring attachment (3) in the form of closure for a container (2), such as a paint can, comprising an annular ring or rim (4) and a lid (5) hinged to the rim (4) as at (9). The container with closure (1) includes a pouring spout (5a) which provides for easy dispensing of the contents of the container (2). The pouring attachment (3) includes interacting sealing means (16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27) to facilitate sealing and resealing of the container, including a spout cover (6) for the pouring spout (5a), and camming means 28 to enable the lid (5) to open to one of two open positions, including a first position which facilitates drainage of the container contents back into the can. The container with closure includes optional handle 12 and tamper-evident sealing means. Containers incorporating such pouring attachments are also disclosed.
