  • Publication number: 20120196487
Abstract: A jack socket to produce a electrical plug connection with a jack plug includes housing (10) with a space, in which the plug shaft can be inserted; a sleeve contact (20) to contact the contact sleeve of the jack plug; a tip contact (30) with a contact section (32) which, in the inserted state of the jack plug, can be contacted from the contact tip and a tip switching contact (40) with a contact section (42), which, without the inserted jack plug, lies against a tip switching contact contact point of the contact section (32) of the tip contact (30) and is lifted off the contact section of the tip contact (30) during the insertion of the jack plug. The connecting sections (21, 31, 41 51, 61) of the contacts (20, 30, 40, 50, 60) project from an attachment end (14) of the plug housing (10) and have a longitudinal extension.

  • Patent number: 7857643
Abstract: The XLR cable connector comprises a sliding element, by means of whose displacement between a retracted and an advanced end position, the XLR cable connector can be converted between a plug and a socket, and that has a first, a second, a third, and a fourth channel, a first, a second, and a third contact pin that are received by the first, second, and third channel of the sliding element, whereby in the retracted position of the sliding element, these contact pins project from the plug-in-side front face of the sliding element, and in the advanced end position of the sliding element, these contact pins are retracted into the channels of the sliding element.

  • Patent number: 7540753
Abstract: Socket for alternatively creating an electrical plug-in connection having a first plug (1), especially in the form of an XLR plug, or having a second plug constructed in the form of a jack connector (7), whereby the socket comprises a locking arm (22) with a locking protrusion (23) that engages, in the plugged-in state of the first plug (1), into a locking recession (6) in the plug housing (5) of the first plug (1), and an actuation unit (24), that in an active position keeps the locking protrusion (23) disengaged from the locking recession (6) of the first plug (1). The socket also has a locking device for the jack connector (7) that comprises a locking extension (37) that in the plugged-in state of the jack connector (7) engages in a constriction (12) of the contact tip (10) of the jack connector (7), and a blocking part (38) that has a contact surface (39) that in a blocking position of the blocking part (38) rests against an opposite contact surface (40) of the socket.
