  • Publication number: 20130004349
Abstract: The invention concerns an axial fan (1) having a motor comprising a stator (2) and a rotor (3), wherein blades (4), which move a gaseous medium in an axially directed main flow direction (S) from an inlet side (E) to an outlet side (A) of the fan, project from the outer periphery (U3) of the rotor (3). For enhanced performance with regard to efficiency in a structurally less costly manner, a rotation-symmetric flow guiding element (5) is mounted on the outlet side (A) directly or indirectly on the stator (2) and concentrically with respect to a stator hub (2a). The flow guiding element to have an outer diameter (D5) that is greater than the outer diameter (D2) of the stator hub (2a) greater than the outer diameter (D3) of the rotor (3), and smaller than the diameter (D4) of a perimeter (U4) around the blades (4).

  • Publication number: 20110223007
Abstract: A radial fan wheel arrangement includes a circular bottom plate (2) and a circular cover plate (3) with a central inflow opening (4), as well as wheel blades (6) running between the bottom plate (2) and the cover plate (3). Pocket-shaped recesses (9) are configured at least on one side of a plate surface in the space between the wheel blades (6) in an outer edge area of the cover plate (3) or the bottom plate (2) or both. At least one counterweight (13) is mounted on at least one of the two plates (2, 3) on a plate edge in an area of the pocket-shaped recesses (9).

  • Publication number: 20110200438
Abstract: A diagonal fan has a diagonal fan impeller (1) which is fastened to a rotor (2) of an external rotor motor (3) and which is arranged between a front plate (5), which has an in particular central inflow opening (6), and a motor bracket (4). The motor bracket (4) is connected to the front plate (5) via a plurality of peripherally arranged spacers (21). Here, the front plate (5) and the motor bracket (4) are formed as plastic or metal injection molded parts. The spacers (21) are formed, as plastic or metal injection parts, in one piece with the front plate (5) or with the motor bracket (4).
