  • Publication number: 20200316680
Abstract: A casting system is provided with at least two low-pressure casting furnaces. Each of the at least two low-pressure casting furnaces is adapted to be connected in fluid communication with a mold. At least one controller is in cooperation with the at least two low-pressure casting furnaces to collectively operate the low-pressure casting furnaces to cast a material into the mold.

  • Patent number: 9223459
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for using are provided for using neural signals to drive touch screen devices. An electromyography (EMG) device can receive neural based on electrical activity of one or more voluntary muscles of a user of the EMG device. The EMG device can filter the neural signals to generate a plurality of channel signals. A touch event can be determined based on the plurality of channel signals. The touch event can relates to user input for a touch-based interface of a touch-enabled device. The touch-enabled device can receive an indication of the touch event. The touch-enabled device can determine a touch operation for the touch-enabled device based on the touch event and then perform the touch operation.

  • Publication number: 20110191943
Abstract: The invention comprises a pair of locking devices where each locking device consists of two separate pieces. One piece of the locking device slides inside the other which prevents them from being pulled apart. Each piece can be attached to both the panel and the garment by sewing or by bonded with an adhesive. The panel, which can also be “snapped on” a garment, appears as a permanent part of the garment, not as an add on to the garment. The locking devices are made of yieldable, flexible material which bends easily for comfort of the user, and slide together very easily. In addition, as the pieces of the locking devices can not be pulled apart, the panel of material can not separate from the garment when the user's knees and/or elbows bend. The locking devices can be made of plastic which can be covered with fabric which can be washed and dried.

  • Publication number: 20050144102
Abstract: There is disclosed a visual display comprising: a plurality of value indicators, indicating values for a plurality of market measures, said plurality of value indicators extending over a plurality of markets; at least one user settable limit value, representing a limit value of a said market indicator; wherein said display is operable for highlighting any individual said market indicators which exhibit a predetermined level of activity.

  • Patent number: 5328343
Abstract: A gerotor motor (11) of the valve-in in-star type is provided wherein a stationary valve member (17) is disposed immediately adjacent the gerotor gear set (19). The stationary valve member defines a shuttle bore (81) and disposed therein is a shuttle member (107) which moves between two operating positions (FIGS. 6 and 7) under the influence of system pressure. The shuttle valve member (107) communicates system pressure from whichever of the ports (39 or 41) is at high pressure to a pressure balancing recess (63). At the same time, the shuttle valve (107) provides fluid communication between whichever of the ports is at low pressure and a low pressure passage (83) which may be in communication with a lubrication circuit (95), or may be in communication with a case drain port, to divert a small amount of fluid to a heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 4223043
Abstract: A flexible tube container has a plurality of cells linearly disposed along the length of the tube. The cells are defined by a plurality of segmented weld lines, each segmented weld line extending the width of the tube. Each segmented weld line permits fluid communication between the various cells in the container and the formation of individual frozen confections within each of the cells upon freezing of the fluid therein. Dispensing of an individual frozen confection is easily done by bending the tube along any segmented weld line, which detaches an adjacent cell containing an individual frozen confection and immediately permits sanitary consumption of the frozen confection while it is hygienically protected within the detached cell.
