  • Publication number: 20240123486
Abstract: A method of making a motor vehicle component by hot-forming, hot-cutting, and press-hardening a plate made of a hardenable steel sheet alloy, heating to a temperature greater than Ac1, inserting in a combined forming and cutting tool, fixing the inserted plate in the forming and cutting tool using a stamp which is arranged in the inner region of the tool, at least partially circumferential edge cutting before beginning the forming operation or during a time period of up to 50% of the forming progression and/or at least 20% of the press stroke prior to the bottom dead center position, and hot-forming in a press stroke with the edge cut and optional press-hardening.

  • Publication number: 20050116729
Abstract: A method is provided for testing or calibrating a pressure sensor of a plurality of pressure sensors formed in a wafer, wherein the pressure sensor has a pressure-sensitive portion and a signal output. The method includes a step of connecting the pressure-sensitive portion of the pressure sensor to a fluid line in a pressure-tight way, a step of applying a predetermined pressure to the pressure-sensitive portion of the pressure sensor via the fluid line and a step of receiving a signal from the signal output of the pressure sensor.

  • Patent number: 6739588
Abstract: A method and a device for separating flat, sheet-like elements from a stack of such elements, in particular, from a stack of unexposed printing plates that will be automatically loaded into a printing plate recorder. When the upper or front element in the stack is being separated from the stack, an edge area of this element is curved up in some way.
