Abstract: A thermoplastic composition includes at least one thermoplastic vulcanizate, at least one thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer, and at least one propylene copolymer, wherein the at least one thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer has a flexural modulus at 23° C. of not more than 750 MPa and wherein the at least one propylene copolymer is a propylene-ethylene copolymer. A sealing device includes a waterproofing layer obtained by using the thermoplastic composition, a method for producing a sealing device, and a method for waterproofing a substrate.

Further, the thermoplastic composition can be used to produce a shaped article, a shaped article can include a substrate layer including the thermoplastic composition, a method can produce a shaped article, and a method can cover a substrate using the shaped articles.

Abstract: A sealing device including a waterproofing layer including at least one thermoplastic elastomer P1 and an outer layer of non-woven fabric directly adhered to at least portion of the second major surface of the waterproofing layer, wherein the outer layer of non-woven fabric including at least one polymer P2. Further, a method for producing a sealing device, to the use of a layer of non-woven fabric including or essentially consisting of polypropylene fibers for reducing blocking of a waterproofing layer including at least one propylene-based thermoplastic elastomer, and to a method for covering a roof substrate using the sealing devices of the present invention.

Abstract: A sealing device including a waterproofing membrane and a protective film including a backing layer, which is directly attached to at least part of the bottom surface of the waterproofing membrane. The invention is also directed to a method for producing a sealing device, to use of a protective film comprising a backing layer for reducing blocking of a polymeric membrane, and to a method for covering a roof substrate using the sealing devices of the present invention.
