  • Publication number: 20230249657
Abstract: A method for ascertaining a clamping force of a braking unit of a motor vehicle, which includes at least one rotatably mounted wheel and a braking system including at least one braking unit and at least one electric motor. The electric motor includes a motor winding and a rotatably mounted rotor. The rotor is coupled with the brake body so that a clamping force may be generated by a rotation of the rotor, by which a brake body is pressed against a brake element. A rotation angle of the rotor and/or a displacement travel of a displaceably mounted element of the transmission unit is ascertained, and a level of the generated clamping force is ascertained as a function thereof. A level of the clamping force is ascertained as a function of the level of a motor current.

  • Publication number: 20220017059
Abstract: In a method for monitoring the operational reliability of a braking system in a vehicle. A brake pedal actuation is monitored via a brake light switch. An error signal is generated if the brake light switch generates a switch signal, without a braking intent of the driver being registered via a sensor signal of a sensor.

  • Patent number: 9354275
Abstract: Testing an integrated circuit in a test environment that includes a virtual test engine and a test system with an integrated circuit tester. The integrated circuit is connected to the virtual test engine via the integrated circuit tester, and the integrated circuit tester is connected to the integrated circuit via an interface. The virtual test engine communicates with the integrated circuit tester via a command interface to perform functional test during functional test mode and to perform non-functional test during non-functional test mode.

  • Patent number: 7343534
Abstract: A method for deferred logging of machine data following an error or event in order to capture critical information for that error or event treats the data as persistent and it does not get logged until a disruption occurs to the system (e.g. system reset, restart, deactivation, or powered-down). This way, important debug data can be held in the hardware or software, without a need for complicated hardware and code for logging this debug data. Methods are also disclosed for setting a switch to indicate deferred logging is required, referencing the log data with the original event information, calling home with the debug data, resetting the deferred logging switch, setting the deferred logging switch manually, viewing whether the switch is already set, and supporting different kinds of switches.

  • Publication number: 20070125074
Abstract: It is suggested to use a procedure for the control of the regeneration of a pollutant control equipment arranged in the planned internal combustion engine used for powering a motor vehicle. It will be regenerated in periodical intervals by at least one stored component and a device for the execution of the process. A calculation of a route takes place due to an entry by the operator. A required regeneration of the pollutant control equipment impacts the calculation of a route. Besides protection from the pollutant control equipment the invention based procedure enables a protection against contaminant loads of the air on specific routes and beyond that an energy efficient regeneration of the pollutant control equipment.

  • Publication number: 20050235560
Abstract: An integrated reactor is introduced for the thermic coupling of at least in each case one exothermic and one endothermic reaction having at least in each case two structures spatially separated from each other for guiding at least in each case two fluid streams, the structures having a catalytic coating. The catalytic coating is structured as a function of location.

  • Patent number: 6939634
Abstract: A fuel cell system including at least two reformer units for catalytic decomposing a starting material stream into at least one intermediate product and one hydrogen-rich fuel stream of a fuel cell unit, in which each reformer unit converts the starting material stream into an end product stream in at least one first operating phase and into the intermediate product in a second operating phase using an auxiliary material stream. The fuel cell system provides its continuous generation of a hydrogen-rich fuel stream from hydrocarbons for mobile and/or stationary fuel cell applications using at least one heat exchanger unit to exchange heat between the reformer units.
